| Alison Baird lives in Oakville Ontario. She is the author
of a number fantasy novels and a few short stories. Her short fiction has appeared in On
Spec, the anthology
What If: Amazing Stories and in the anthology Tales From the Wonder Zone:
Stardust.
Alison's first 6 novels were written for teens and children and
included The
Dragon's Egg, White as the Waves, The Wolves of Woden, The
Hidden World, The
Witches of Willowmere and The Warding of Willowmere (which
just came out in Jan 2004) More recently Alison has been
contracted by Time Warner
to write an adult fantasy series called The Dragon Throne trilogy.
The first book in the trilogy, The Stone of the Stars,
will be available in February of 2004.
