The Streetlight Prowlers

Totem: Black Panther

    Everyone's favorite pack of NPC's, the Prowlers (and the name has gone under many revisions; this is the one Madonna likes now) have been the biggest supporters of the Children of the Sun since the game began.  Madonna has been the alpha the entire time this pack has been together, except for the two-week period during which she was in the throes of Harano.  Trent and Michelle both tried to step into the leadership void but neither really succeeded, partially due to their feelings for Madonna.  When Madonna recovered, she...um...reasserted her dominance and resumed her position.
    The Prowlers have traditionally come and gone as they pleased on various adventures.  Madonna appears to be using her friendship with Kyla to make sure this arrangment continues.  Kyla's position as Wyrmfoe gives her the ability to send the Prowlers out on "missions" when Madonna wants to get out of guard duty.  Many of the other packs of the Sept hold some grudges for the cavalier attitude they show toward protecting the caern.

"You call me a bitch like it's a bad thing!"

    The only Ragabash Alpha in the Sept of Gaia's Strength, Madonna (never Maddie) discourages challenges by being very domineering toward her packmates.  She has been looking out for the Children of the Sun in general, and Kyla in particular, for a long time. Now that Kyla's pack seems to be strong enough to leave alone, Madonna is returning to her previous occupation of digging up magical items of all origins to be kept under guard by the Freebooters.
    The Black Fury recently recovered from a bout with Harano that was caused by the death of her mother, Maria Stands Last.

    Few guess that Michelle is a lupus upon meeting her; even the players didn't realize until recently.  She has totally embraced human music, fashion, and society.  Still, her lupus nature makes her much more conservative than outward appearances.  Michelle and Trent are rivals for the Beta position; one rarely has the upper hand over the other for long.
    She orginally opposed Trent's membership in the Prowlers, but now will trust him in any situation...as long as he remembers his place.

    Trent has accepted his role in predominantly female pack with some grace. For most of the game he has been trying to cement his position in the pecking order above Michelle. As the Ahroun, he provides most of the 'muscle' for the pack. One can often find him chatting with "the girls" while polishing the lightning claw cyberfetish which replaces his right hand.

"The little Spirits of the cities need our help, too, y'know!  Listen to them!  Would you ignore a Glade Child in the forest?"

    Claudia fell in with the Urban Primitives culture within the Glass Walkers after her First Change, and came to follow Madonna after having a vision.  Her Weaver-ish twist on Garou spirituality and magic have been a big plus in the pack's Freebooting efforts.
    She prefers city life to the rustic environs of the Sept of Gaia's Strength, but is content as long as they get to visit cities on their missions.

"Oh, no!  Don't EVER call her Maddie!"

    Stanley was running with a pack of wild dogs in Detroit when the Prowlers found him and recognized him as a Garou. He is very servile toward Madonna, whom he sees purely as his alpha:  the baddest dog on the block.  Stanley has a very literal approach to life, as do most new-changed lupus Garou.
    Madonna originally planned to foist him off on the Sept of the Underdog, but his single-mindedness toward completing tasks to please her seems to have won her over.  His new nickname in the Sept:  "Madonna's favorite fleabag."
