Halloween   October 31, 1998.

This was my first official Halloween where I got to wear a Storm Trooper outfit, and BELIEVE ME, it was a heck of a lot of fun!  It truly was an attention-getter!   In these shots, my suit was 'weathered' by Steve Hamedl (caspid@aol.com)... He did an awesome job weathering up my suit with his trusty airbrush and brownish paint!  No offense to Steve, but Mike Glover (casters@bellsouth.net) came over the night before we overtook FAO Schwartz and added & improved the look even further, with a combination of paints, sandpaper and sheer artistry!  Again, a Sand Trooper outfit always will be a work in progress, as it will need continual repaints, maintenance and tweaks.  Please check out those pics on that page as well when you get a chance!

1.)  Classic forward shot of my Sand Trooper outfit on Halloween night... As you can tell, my backpack is still a wee bit under construction, and the woodgrain (back of the backpack) is showing through a bit too much for my tastes... ;)   That was later spraypainted black, and looks much better now!

2.)  Just a shot of the back so you can see the backpack that Mike Glover (casters@bellsouth.net) put together for me using various pieces of tubes and Tupperware.  I had the Imperial logo stickers made, and put those in the appropriate locations... It's looking very good and authentic as you can see!

3.)  A shot with my daughter as she dressed up as a kitty cat that night.  She's such a cutie!  She promised me that she's going to dress up as a Storm Trooper next year, so she can help me out! <Grin>

4.)  Here's a shot of me with my bro-in-law.  He was portraying a Roman soldier 'Claudius' type of guy... His costume looked very good... and is hoping to join me as a Trooper next year as well!  :)

HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE PICS!
