For numerous years many people have thought that there are canals on the surface of Mars. The water that is stored in the polar ice caps of Mars could have once flowed through them. Then again there is a theory that what appears to be canals is not, and they were called canals due to a mistranslation by the man who discovered them. It has also been proposed that the telescopes used at the time of the findings were not so powerful infering that the human eye was just playing trick on these believers. Still there is a strong possibility that the water did carve out canals, even if there wasn't intelligent life to control it.
Could there be life on Mars? It is doubtful that there is currently life on the surface of Mars, but what about under the surface. If there were intelligent life forms on Mars couldn't they have placed themselves in some kind of cryogenic suspended sleep under the surface? It is not as farfetched as it may sound. We see it in many Sci-fi movies, and it may be possible today. If we could do it why couldn't they?
Are we Martians? It is a possibility. Scientists have found a meteorite that has landed on Earth about 13,000 years ago that contained fossilized bacteria from Mars. If the bacteria were from Mars then who's to say that when the Earth was forming a simmilar meteor from Mars didn't crash into the Earth carrying Bacteria from Mars, simultaneously starting life on Earth. Or what if before Mars as a planet died the beings came to Earth and lived among man. Maybe the great Pharoahs of Ancient Egypt were Martians, or the people of Atlantis . If the people of Atlantis were Martians wouldn't this coincide with stories telling how intelligent Atlanteans were.
