| Unlike the rest of the books featured on this webpage, Palindor is not a series. It is one book by D.R. Evans. It is about a girl, Katrin, who is brought into a world strange to her. This world is called Palindor. Palindor has been ruled by Queen Cerebeth for a thousand years. But the queen is not what she used to be. A great evil threatens Palindor. The last two surviving Holy Gnomes must save Palindor with the help of Katrin, who is destined to become High Queen Catherine of Palindor--if she can survive the battle. Palindor was intented to be a series, I think, but I've never seen another one. Palindor is out of print right now. However, if you happen to stumble upon a copy, buy it. It's worth it. I first read it when I was in fourth grade. I borrowed it from one of my friends. When my friend lost interest in fantasy books, I asked him if I could have it. He'd lost it. Go figure. So I put an order in on Amazon.com. Took them a year to find a copy, but they finally found a used one. So now I've got a copy and I'm a happy person:-)
