The Discworld MUD
MUD stands for Multi-User Dungeon. The Discworld MUD is part of a gaming system that is springing up over the Internet - text-based adventuring with online interactivity. On the Discworld MUD, you have the opportunity to play an adventure game and interact with other people playing it at the same time, making it all the more fun (although potentially expensive!).
The Discworld MUD is located at discworld.imaginary.com:5678. There are detailed instructions at the website and in the MUD itself, and if you get stuck then you can 'newbie' a question to the experts. My handle is Phadiphion (but I don't often play it).
