The Chapel, located on the Garden Deck of the ship, houses a sanctuary for use by anyone on board along with the Pastor's Quarters and the Pastor's Study/Office. Each ship has a pastor assigned to it for counseling as well as for leading the interdenominational services, and accomodations can be made (if the pastor is married) for his wife to live aboard the ship as well.
The entire building is 120 ft. x 60 ft., of which the actual sanctuary takes us most of this. The sanctuary has 20 pews which can seat everyone on board, along with a choir loft that can hold an additional 40 people. It also houses a baptismal pool for those who are Baptist along with other religious pieces used with other faiths (not shown). It also has a grand piano and a pipe organ located on either side of the pulpit (not shown).
The contents of the Foyer area differ from ship to ship, but each contains two public restrooms that double as a bride's room and groom's room in the event of a wedding. Each Foyer also has a crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
The Pastor's Quarters and Pastor's Study can only be reached through an outside door. Each is arranged however the pastor desires, and each is connected to a single bathroom (not labeled). The Study is used for personal studies as well as for counseling sessions and other such meetings. The Quarters are occupied by the pastor (and wife if applicable) at all times.
The services and service times vary depending on the makeup of the crew, but generally an interdenominational service is held on Sunday mornings and various other meetings are held throughout the week as the crew desires.
