Deck 1 -- Garden Deck

Deck 1

Deck 1 -- Labeled

Chapel
Rose Garden

The Garden Deck is an area used mainly for relaxation and reflection. When time permits, you can see everything from a game of Ultimate Frisbee on the field to lovers sitting together in the rose garden.

One of the unique features of the Garden Deck is the Environmental Controls. Not only does the temperature change, but it is capable of creating breezes and even a small rain shower. But most striking is the ability to simulate day and night not only with changes in lighting but even including breathtaking sunsets and sunrises as well as a totally accurate representation of stars and planets as seen from earth, all projected onto the walls and ceilings from behind.

Deck 2 -- Upper Rec Deck

Gameroom (Pool, Air Hockey, Ping Pong)
Walking Track
Environmental Support
Electrical Systems

The second deck, in addition to housing all of the environmental controls and electrical systems for runnung the entire ship, is the Upper Recreation Deck. This features the Game Room which contains everything from physical games such as Air Hockey and Ping Pong to pool tables, checkers, chess, and "mind-rotting" video arcade games.

A walking track encircles the gymnasium and is used just as much for a "balcony" at ship-wide basketball games as it is for the actual purpose it was designed for.

Deck 3 -- Lower Rec Deck

Deck 3

Deck 3 -- Labeled

Gymnasium
Tennis Courts (2)
Raquetball Courts (12)
Weight/Exercise Room

The Lower Rec Deck is used to keep the personnel in shape. The gymnasium is used for "pick up" games of basketball as well as the weekly tournaments the crew members often get involved in. If it is agreed upon by the crew, the gymnasium may be temporarily sealed off, the equipment and bleachers removed, and the room flooded, to provide a swimming pool. Entry for this is gained from the walking track above.

The racquetball courts and tennis courts can also be used for both personal use and for tournaments, and the weight room/exercise room contains both an ample supply of free weights and various aerobic exercise machines.

The Auxiliary Crew Deck houses everyone from the Dining Hall staff to the maintenance crews that work on the fighters and the Ark itself.

The Dining Hall can seat all 144 pilots at one time and has four separate food lines depending on your tastes--a dedicated pizza & burger line, a pasta line, a Chinese/Japanese food line, and a "Home Cooking" line offering a different item for every meal. It also has a salad/fruit bar, a dessert bar, and a "Cereal Bar" for breakfast.

Decks 6 and 7

Decks 6 and 7 -- Labeled

The Hangar Bay Access Deck is reached by staircases connecting to the Deck 5 (Note: Stairs not shown on Deck 5). It contains one-person elevators (contained within the access tube) to each of the Figthers as well as all of the fuel storage tanks used to fuel the fighters.

The Hangar can only be reached by a secured staircase at the back of the ship (not shown), and the Fighters can only be reached by the elevators. As a precautionary measure, the elevator doors open only by a verbal command from the pilot to whom the Fighter belongs.
