C-3PO was built by Anakin Skywalker as a servant droid to help his mother.	R2-D2 is reintroduced in Episode I as a dedicated and loyal maintenance droid.	Artoo performs the first of many heroics when he repairs the Queen's ship's hyperdrive.	Both R2 and 3PO will serve on the galactic scene for a long time, and become heroes of the Rebels.
