The Keeper's Orchard
You follow Silvanon into a large orchard. It seems to contain a mix of trees--apple, peach, plum, orange, and many others. After walking for some time through the trees, you come to the center of the orchard. Here there is only one variety of tree, but you don't recognize it. The fruit it bears is pear-shaped, but is larger than a pear, and colored like a peach.
The girl notices you staring, and tells you, "These are yever trees." She then picks a yever fruit off a tree and hands it too you. "Try it. It's very good." You bite into the fruit. It IS good. You quickly finish it, and reach for another.
You are so busy eatting yever that you don't notice a young man walk up to you. You jump in fright when he greets you "Hello."
Feeling silly, you turn to face him. "Hello," you say around your mouthful. While you're at it, you take a good look at him. The first thing you notice is his coloring. He has pale skin, very light blond hair, and penetrating dark eyes. He is well built and of medium height. His dark grey tunic is worn over a white shirt and black hose, and there is a sword dangling from his hip.
The young man turns to your guide and says, "I had to run home for a bit. What's new?"
"Well," says the girl with a smile, "you can go check it out at the Orchard Messagepost. Here's my adoption agencies, you're welcome to go check out what's up:
You haven't seen signs of any human homes about, and are feeling a bit confused, so you ask Evend, "Where's your home?"
Evend turns and looks up into the sky. A large planet sits just above the horizon. Evend points to it and says, "I'm from Gavania." You are too surprised to answer him, and after a moment he turns to Silvanon, "I'm afraid that I need to get back. I was hoping that you and Shaudith could give me a ride."
Silvanon smiles brightly. "Of course." She then turns to you. "You're welcome to come along too, if you'd like. Gavania is an explore's paradise."
From the Keeper's Orchard you can see The Watchers' Forest to one side, a rainforest off another way, and the deep blue of an ocean. Or, you can go to Gavania a dragon-back.
