The Watcher's Forest
You continue to run after the unicorns, not even thinking, putting everything into running. You run right smack into a lady. The blow leaves your head spinning--how she didn't get knocked over you don't know. "It's dangerous to run without looking where you're going," she comments dryly.
The world stops spinning topsey turvy, and your mind returns to it's new obession. "The unicorns!" you scramble to your feet and try to take off again. The lady grabs hold of your arm, lightly, but somehow there's a force behind it that makes you stand still.
"Hey you, let go of me!" you say angrily.
"My name is Silvanon," she responds, "and if you want to see a unicorn, you don't go chasing after it. Let it come to you."
You frown, still angry. "What do you mean?"
"Look over there," Silvanon nods to your right. You look, and there she is.
"Wow," you sigh in awe. "Do you think she'll really come here?"
"I doubt it," replies Silvanon frankly. "Vision is getting rather secretive these days. She doesn't like silly people who chase after her. You are lucky she even let you see her." As if to confirm her words, Vision slips off into the trees.
A new thought occurs to you. "I saw two unicorns back there in the forest."
"Did you?" Silvanon replies noncomitally. You frown at her, and after a moment she continues. "Vision is one of the oldest unicorns of Alonnia, but there are quite a few more of them. You may see more, if you keep alert."
You smile happily at the thought of seeing more unicorns. "Does that mean we're in Alonnia now?"
"Yes. This is the Watcher's Forest."
Somehow the news doesn't surprise you. "So, what should I do now?"
Silvanon laughs at your question. "I'll show you around. Just take a look and tell me where you'd like to go."
Finally you decide to look at your surroundings. You could go straight ahead. To your right is a large meadow, and off to the other side is a small clearing. Just outside of the forest is a well kept orchard.
