Dominion Command Structure

Command Structure:

The Command Structure of the Dominion is not very complicated unlike other Militarys. The Founders are the Supreme leaders of the Dominion, but due to past experiences with the "Solids", Founders live in isolation away from the rest of the Galaxy. Vorta are the eyes and ears of the Founders in militarial and political and other ways. No Vorta can be an XO of vessel only commanding one. No Jem'Hadar is able to give a command and/or be a higher rank then a Vorta.

Command Dominion Council (CDC): The Command Dominion Council is a Council made up of representatives from every Dominion joined world. The meetings are OOC and each member has a vote. For more Information on the CDC and the Commanders of the Dominion go to the page of the Dominion Command Council.

Jem'Hadar Ranks:

Jem'Hadar ranks are simple. The highest Rank a Jem'Hadar can be is the rank of "First". The Second Highest "Second" and Third "Third" and so on and so forth. The Highest Command a Jem'Hadar can get is Command of a Vessel or fleet.

Fleets:

The Formation of Fleets is quite Complex, moreso then the usual formation of other powers such as the Federation.

Talak:

A Talak of Starships is a Formation of 3 Vessels, the class of the vessels is irrelavent. A Talak is commanded by either a "Overseer" or a Jem'Hadar 1st. The only situation for which a Jem'Hadar can Command a Talak is if the other 2 Vessels in the Talak are Commanded by Jem'Hadar. There are 3 Talak's to a Wing.

Wing:

A wing is made up of 3 Talaks thusly 9 Vessels. A Wing is either Commanded by a Vice-Supervisor or A Jem'hadar First, but again ALL Vessels of the Wing must be commanded and run by Jem'Hadar. Lastly there are 3 Wings to a Fleet. A Fleet is always commanded by a "Supervisor".

Accompany:

An accompany is made up of 3 wings thusly 27 vessels. An accompany is usually commanded by a "Head Supervisor". In the case that a Head Supervisor is not present a lower ranked member may take command while awaiting a transferred commander.

Division:

A division's make up usually differs from other divisions. The number of accompanies is not certain. Any accompany made hold from 3 to 27 wings. A division is usually commanded by an "Assistant Director".

Fleet:

A Fleet is usually made up of two or three divisions. Every fleet has a flagship and a main starbase from which their independent intelligence is based. (All in all there are a grand total of 27 vessels per fleet (In Roleplay). Once the number of a Fleet exceeds 27 another Fleet is Formulated.)
