Amulet of Reversed Gravity: This amulet reverses gravity for the wearer and all inanimate objects within a 10' radius of the wearer. Initial adjustment to the reversed gravity can be a catastrophe if the wearer is not ready for the change. If the wearer drops an item and then moves away, it way drop to the "nomal" floor if left unsecured, possibly injuring someone. The reverse is also true. If the owner of such an amulet desired to, an entire inverted home could be built to take advantage of this magic. XP: 2000 Discovered By: Chasmyr |
Enforcers Sword: This is a sword +1 of any size desired by the creator. The pommel of the sword unscrews from the end of the hilt, to reveal a second sword+1 (of the same type as the first) sheathed within an extra-dimensional space inside the sword. Extra-Dimensional Buffering:This item enhancement is only available for magical items having any sort of extra-dimensional space inside or otherwise attached to them(ie: bag of holding, or flatbox). Fiend-Bane: This battle axe +1/+3 vs chaos was forged by the dwarves, with the aid of elven refugees, during the Outpouring. It's broad head has been intricatly carved with a Glyph of Warding, Acid Burst. This glyph is carved completely through the head of the axe , this carving results in it being 25% lighter than normal for a mithril axe(and also having a +1 bonus to speed above and beyond the normal speed bonus for magical weapons). Fiend-Bane is non-intelligent, dedicated vs chaos. It bears the enhancement of Acid Secretion and the command words for it's functioning can be found carved into the harl'dan haft(the haft is wound in black dragon hide, to protect it from the acid). When not in use, this mighty weapon is cased in a case made from the soft hide of hatchling black dragon. As such, any person bearing it who is seen by a black dragon is subject to a hostile reaction result. Creatures who are capable of regeneration will have to make a morale check upon realizing what weapon is being used against them. Discovered By: Chasmyr |
Fire Bolts: These bolts come in various sizes for hand crossbows, light and heavy crossbows or ballistas. These are made with Fire Trap (variable level) cast on a hollow glass head filled with greek fire. Obviously this weapon does a great deal of fire damage if it hits. Har'ldan Toolbox: This toolbox magically enchants any tools left in it for 6 or more hours the ability to work har'ldan wood for 1 hour. Due to this, these tool boxes are frequently found in either the largest possible sizes or with extra-dimensional spaces. No combat bonuses are conferred by this box. XP: 500 Discovered By: Chasmyr |
Holdout Belt: The buckle to this belt is actually a portion of the hilt to a sword-like weapon. This weapon is stowed within a extra-dimensional space inside the belt and may be of any size that can physically be slide into the belt width-wise(this is the height of the belt as it sits on the person). This weapon does not possess any magical bonuses, but if lost, another must be specially made to have a buckle incorporated into the hilt. XP: 800 Discovered By: Chasmyr |
Light Crossbow of Illusory Bolts: Fires illusory bolts at target. Bolt appears on crossbow when crossbow is cocked. Bolt is only visible to target(s) as designated by user. XP: 550 Discovered By: Chasmyr |
Ranger's Bow: This bow+1 has a small extradimensional space incorporated into the shaft of the bow. This space can hold up to four arrows and only arrows may be stored here. These arrows may be called forth by any person knowing the appropriate command word. XP: 2,000 Discovered By: Chasmyr |
Ring of Armouring: This magical ring grants AC5 to the wearer which is cumulative with any non-armor related bonuses. The user can not wear armor of any kind. Ring of Stealth: Grants the move silently ability at 73% (no dexterity bonus applicable, and this replaces any rogue or rangers normal move silently ability). Takes one day for the ring to adjust to any new owners, at which time the owner is made aware of its abilities. Robber Shoes: These white shoes give rangers and rogues bonuses to move silently(+20) and climb walls(+10) ability checks. Though typically white in color, they invariably get dirty within five minutes of being donned, unless extreme measures are taken to keep them clean. XP: 400 Dicovered By: Saru |
Samarcus: This magical long sword was forged by the diety Eddas Elrondson in the days prior to his ascension. Since that time, it has been invested with a portion of his personal power. While originaly forged to fight the drow and their allies, it has gained a large amount of knowledge through out the ages and is an exceptional advisor. Magical abilities: Sword+4/5 vs all Drow allies/6 vs Drow, Chitine, and Aranea Gains the powers of a holy avenger when weilded by a neutral good owner of any class Intelligence of 18 Speaks elvish, drow, common, dwarven, duergar, and rakasta Light on command(acts as sunlight in all cases) Detect drow works in 60' area Unbreakable In times of dire need, it is able to cast any spell normally available to a specialty priest of Eddas, at a level equivalent to its current attack bonus. It does not take doing so lightly as it views this as infringing upon the owners personal innovation. This is considered a crime against its maker by the sword. Due to the many years that have passed since its making, Samarcus can be treated as a sage of exceptional ability in the sphere's of influence of Eddas Elrondson. Spectacle's of Wizard's Sight: These spectacles were developed by an elven mage during the Outpouring to act as a prosthesis for blind elves. This device grants Wizard Sight as per the spell from the Tome of Magic. It functions equally well for the blind as it does the sighted and must be worn to be benefited from. Teleport Beacon: This item allows the caster of a teleport beacon to arrive within 5' of it's location, in a safe area. This functions as if the caster had intimate, personal knowledge of the target location. The caster need only be on the beacons plane of existance, and be aware of the beacons existance. (In the Mysaniti campaign world, Hell's Gap counts as the Prime Material Plane and the Abyss) This does not allow the caster to bypass Teleport blocking spell effects or Teleport re-directing effects. Thieves Sword: This device is a sword+1 of any type desired by the creator. However, the pommel of this sword may be unscrewed to reveal an extra-dimensional opening 1" in diameter by 1' long. Wand of Vanishing: This wand casts the Vanish spell effect at 16th level. The cubic volume of the area targeted by the user must be less than or equal to the area allowed by the spell. The initial effect costs 1 charge, and returning("un-Vanishing") an item also costs 1 charge. This wand will affect Vanish effects cast from other sources. It can be recharged, and can be used by any class. This device was originally developed by the drow for purposes of offense and defense in assaulting a fortress of any kind. Weapon of Acid Secretion: This weapon enhancement was developed during the Outpouring by fighter/mages frustrated at the tanar'ric ability to regenerate. Any weapon with this power must be treated with everbright to prevent it from destroying itself. This weapon, upon command, will secrete acid along the edge of the weapon. This causes it to do an additional 1d8 of acid damage on any succesful hit. It also keeps the fiend from healing the normal damage being inflicted by the weapon. Furthermore, the weapon can be commanded 1/day to launch Melf's Acid Arrow (see the Players Handbook for this spell, functions as if cast at the 8th level) at a target designated by the wielder. Weapon of Mind Slayer: This weapon is typically found as some sort of missile weapon ammunition. This item when found in this form has only one use, which is expended upon a succesful hit (can be reused if it misses). More rarely, it will be a melee weapon enhancement with 2-8 charges, expending one charge upon the first succesful hit after a command word is spoken. This item when found in this form has only one use, which is expended upon a succesful hit (can be reused if it misses). More rarely, it will be a melee weapon enhancement with 2-8 charges, expending one charge upon the first succesful hit after a command word is spoken. In either form, this weapon generates an Anti-Magic Shell as the sixth level wizard spell from the Players Handbook upon the target. A save vs wands at -4 applies in all cases. Weapon of the Wraith: This weapon enhancement is considered an evil act. It involves binding a wraith or wight to the weapon. In so doing, the weapon will function as a wraith or wight in regards to draining energy levels on a succesful hit. These weapons radiate cold, and may flicker with negative energy. In the event that turning is directed at one of these weapons, the weapon must pass the turning attempt. A succesful turn results in the weapon going dormant for 3d6 turns.
