Highlander Fans Working for Peace

HIGHLANDER FANS WORKING FOR PEACE

LET THERE BE PEACE

HOW DO YOU WORK FOR PEACE

A CHALLENGE

Every day we are presented with opportunities and choices to offer service, peace, kindness and understanding or to ignore, hurt, argue or just not communicate with others. The purpose of this cyber challenge is to hopefully show that with a little patience and perseverence, acts of peace do have an effect on the ordinary everyday occurrences of our lives. We may never be a diplomat working for world governments trying to resolve conflicts but what we do in our own homes and communities can start a wave of peace and understanding with far reaching results.

Dedication Page

This Peace Challenge is
dedicated to young people everywhere,
especially victims of school violence,
and their parents, family and teachers,
and to a world so much in need
of hope and peace.

JOIN THE PEACE CHALLENGE. Even on our best days it may seem an awkward attempt at best to reach out and try to resolve conflict with someone else, whether it be in the work place, at home, at school and yes even at church. It shouldn't discourage us from our good intentions to continue to keep trying because as we know, practice makes perfect. If you would like to share your stories, original poetry or a favorite quote, please follow the link below for more on how you can participate in this Peace Challenge.

I'd also like to introduce you to some of the many friends who make up The Clan MacWench as well as other friends and Highlander fans. The following pictures were taken at Gathering IV in Denver, a convention held in October 1998 for fans of the Highlander television series. Click here.

Highlander Fans on Rysher recently had a lot of fun celebrating Adrian Paul's birthday and couldn't help getting a little silly. Check it out.
