MOPS gives mothers of children aged birth through kindergarten the chance to meet with other moms in the same season of life. It is a place where moms have the opportunity to make new friends, share experiences, laugh together and learn biblical principles pertaining to womanhood, marriage, and parenting. MOPS also provides opportunities for social outings geared specifically for preschool aged children and their mothers.

MOPS International is a nondenominational Christian organization that reaches out to all mothers of children under school age. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban and suburban, stay-at-home and working, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different life-styles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! ...and MOPS makes a difference in the lives of families.

While Moms are off enjoying refreshments, listening to interesting speakers and taking part in a craft they can actually finish uninterrupted, their little ones are being cared for in a loving environment we call MOPPETS. The children are divided into age appropriate groups and are involved in planned activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment. Games, stories, crafts, music and play enhance their physical and creative development.

MOPS meets at First Baptist Church of Modesto on the third floor of the Family Life Pavilion every first and third Thursday of the month from September thru May. Our meetings start at 9:15am and end at 11:30am. Visitors are treated with extra special care and are welcome anytime.
