The Spandex Militia's run of bad luck continued with a raid on their stash by The Men of Steel, and then a defeat at the hands of Caine's Bitter & Twisted Company.
Steel was quoted whilst drinking at the Pickled Spider in Sumpfalls:
"We snuck into their joint and saw those girlies preparing for a shopping trip. They had kindly gathered all their loot together and then were busy trowling on the make-up a little way off. So I got Running rat to nip in sharpish and grab da loot. They spotted him and started to chase, but Haematite dropped one of them, and we got away before they could do any fink about it."
As if this was enough, the Spandex Militia whilst out looking for The Men of Steel to discuss this financial situation encountered long time rivals Caine's Bitter & Twisted Company.
Caine's words on the altercation that followed:
"We'd just finished looking over the new territory that Slippery Jim found for us when lo and behold who turns up but the Spandex Militia, the ones who think they're hard. Now after, the injury I received last time we'd set to, we'd done a bit of organising. So when one of them popped up behind us and had a go at Marcus she got more than she bargained for. Marcus ain't no fool in combat and held her off until I came in and decked the tart. Then we prepared for their charge, but it looks like only two of them have got any backbone. Those two came in at us, Marcus went down, but then they were up against me. Axel and Slippery Jim charged in and put one of them down. I hit the other, but she ran off. Slippery Jim and I pursued her and made sure we had the last word. The rest of them who had been skulking around bottled out then."
Caine went on to say:
"I think the Guilders made a big mistake appointing them as Watchmen. I mean look at things as they are now, there's the Bug Heads and all the other stinkin mutant trash that think they own the place. I think we need to carry out a PURGE of these deviant scum !"
