Strategic Xwing Alliance Beta 1.7 has been released. New features
include:

Major changes in Decoding Score! It is faster and I fixed 2 very important
bugs!

You should not see any longer that program just runs forever!

AI ships that died because the collided into something will now b e accurately
counted

Cargo bases now decrease number of turns before purchased ships will appear.

Maintenance points for starships and repair bases added.

Penalty for not having enough storage facilities for fighters added

Ok, I missed some of the updates the Beta of SXWA that was released.
here is an updated list:

AI will now attack you if it will find you and it is strong enough.

Ability to build bases (bases create more prestige points, decrease prices
of ships - see readme file)

You can have multiple fleets.

You no longer loose a game because you lost a single fleet or you were
killed during the mission.

Score decoding is improved (we found some bugs in ship info file)

4.0 released. New features include:

More empirial base types

Bug that was causing team 1 to be misread is fixed.

Ship losses are no longer random - The "Decode Score"
program tries HARD to figure out exact losses. But it might fail sometimes.
DO NOT change the ship types or equipment! That will change ship prices
and cause DecodeScore to misinterpret results. Decode score does make mistakes
! This is partially the fault of errors in shipinfo.txt file. I need help
with that !!!

You can involve the cruiser in the battle by placing
it close to the enemy base.
