These are my opinion, so don't get mad because I hate your favorite movie or whatever. So check these out...

Movies to come:
I'm Lazy...maybe I'll write some more.

Movie #1: The Matrix
Rating: 5 stars
Movie Rating: R
Beyond belief (pun not intended) this movie is the best I have ever seen in my life. I know I am only 14, but this was just too good. There were many analogies with the Christian belief system in the this movie, and the Special effects were outstanding! A great plot keeps you guessing, and the fight scenes kick butt.

Movie #2: Tomorrow Never Dies
Rating: 3 and 1/2 stars
Movie Rating: PG-13
James bond is back in this love/action film. Some of his gadgets were fictional, and you know they could never be done. His boat was cool and so was his car. Like always he gets the girl in the end. Nothing special, but worth 2 hours.

Movie #3: Mission to Mars
Rating: 3 stars
Movie Rating: PG
This movie was great on graphics and special effects. It so questions how life got started on earth, and it's rather surprising how so the movie leads you into believing. If this really happened this would prove there is life in the galaxy. If space is your thing, you should look at this.

Movie #4: Gladiator
Rating: 5 stars
Movie Rating: R
This almost beat the Matrix in my opinion. If your into medieval/roman wars, and decapitations you will like this. So close to the actual history this movie is very educational. I almost cried to what happened to his family. The CGI is awesome, and makes you feel like your in Rome. Beautiful.

Movie #5: Mission Impossible 2
Rating: 4 stars
Movie Rating: PG-13
Hmm, not the best but good. Ethan Hunt is back and this time he is racing the clock to save the girl he meet at a party. The fight scene looks like those of the Matrix But, the movie keeps you guessing if it's really tom, with everyone having face makers and all. Gadgets are cool.

Movie #6: Gone in 60 seconds
Rating: 3 stars
Movie Rating: R
I'm not a car person so this movie kinda sucked. It had some cool chase scences, and one really funny part. Other than that though...it's just cars, and more cars.

Movie #7: Shaft
Rating: 4 stars
Movie Rating: R
I thought this movie was really good. Nice rouge cop plot developments. It's kinda graphic though, because there is nudity. But hey, it's Shaft, what could you expect?

Movie #8: Sniper
Rating: 5 stars
Movie Rating: R
This is one of my top 5 favorite movies. I love war movies, and this is really good. It gets to be much like a drama towards the end because the new sniper has a mental breakdown... sad ending too.

Movie #9: Enemy At the Gates
Rating: 4 Stars
Movie Rating: R
Another sniper movie. If you have seen Saving Private Ryan, is like going deeper into the life of the sniper on there. Only he is British not American. This movie kept me on the edge of my seat, with great special effects with the bullets and shoot-outs. This movie also let me know some of the severity of WWII that I didn't know about. Historically correct in some ways. Comes down to in movie that it's sniper vs. sniper. Gore-filled-war-time-on- the edge-awesome-movie.

Movie #10: Unbreakable
Rating: 2 Stars
Movie Rating: PG-13
You know, I thought this was going to be somewhat good but, it sucked. I think the ending really saved this from me giving it 1 Star. Ok the movie is not what you think it is. It ends up that Bruce is a super hero, and Samuel L Jackson is his arch nemesis name "Mr. Glass". Lame.

Movie #11: Fast & The Furious
Rating: 5 Stars
Movie Rating: PG-13
This is probably the best car racing movie I've seen so far. It completely tears up Gone in 60 Seconds, because they don't have dream cars, they have real cars that are suped up. It made every guy I know want to go out and buy a NoS System for his car. Good story too, and um beautiful cars. Awesome.

Movie # 12: The Mummy Returns
Rating: 2 Stars
Movie Rating: PG-13
Umm...what the freakin heck was this crap? The rock had one real part. He was computer generated in the second part. This movie really sucked bad. And if it wasn't for the fact that I liked the fight scenes, and the good graphics, I wouldn't give it any stars. The performance from the Rock was terrible, and um it sucked. That's all I have to say, if you smell what I'm cookin.

Movie # 13: Lara Croft: Tomb Raider
Rating: 2 Stars
Movie Rating: PG-13
Ok what's with all the sucky movies this summer? Another let down. I thought this was going to be a good movie, cause I am fan of the game. But it wasn't. It just sucked.

Movie # 14: Jurassic Park 3
Rating:4 stars
Movie Rating: PG-13
Well...the third and final(?) chapter in the dino movies. This one, lacked a developing plot. It was thrown in all directions. Despite the misdirected plot, this movie was great. It made up for everything it lost in the beautifully done graphics. Utilizing animatronics and CG, the dinosaurs seemed more real than the humans. This was very well done. My hat goes off to the developers of all the CG.

Movie # 15: Swordfish
Rating: 5 stars
Movie Rating: R
Man....another impressive movie. Along the same lines of fightclub...This was a remarkable movie. I can't say enough. The plot was so freakin awesome. It developed in the most unusual way which is the effect the directors were going for. There is also alot of well done panoramic CG, which if you see the movie, will "Blow you away" Check this one out.

Movie # 16: Monsters INC.
Rating: 3 Stars
Movie Rating: G
Go me! My first G rated movie! This was pretty good, the plot wasn't boring and kept my eyelids open. I don't usually go for kid movies but I had a change for once. I figured that this wouldn't live up to it's Disney name. Following in the foot steps of Toy Story and Toy Story 2, Pictar continues to blow people's minds with their computer graphics, which might add were suburb. The voice acting was also well done. Sweet kid movie, and that's about it.

Movie #17: Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings
Rating: 4 and a half stars
Movie Rating: PG-13
Well...there's a lot that I feel about this movie. They are both mixed and paradoxical feelings. I feel that this was disapointing. I know this is a trilogy so I expect a "broken" ending that leaves you hanging. That's not the problem. I think that there was just too much information to process for the whole movie. I loved the graphics, they were so beautiful. (I say that a lot don't I?) Battles were intense and the drama and suspspense filled the gaps left between good battle scenes. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the whole medieval thing like myself. Go see this.

Movie #18: A Beautiful Mind
Rating: 2 stars
Movie Rating: PG-13
Here we go kiddies...How about An Ugly Mind? This movie was so boring...and too long. It was psychological which I think gives it the two stars in my book. It leaves you guess a lot and that's about the only thing I liked about this movie. I pieced it together with the first hour, with the little girl and pigeons. If you see the movie ask yourself, "If the girl is real then why aren't the pigeons flying away?" You should be able to come to a conclusion then. Russell I loved you Gladiator but you're not a good schizophrenic .
