Wild Card

A Wild Card is a character that sides with neither the X-men or the Brotherhood. They can be independant, or part of a team. Striker and his men would be an example of a Wild Card team, while Juggernaught would be a independant Wild Card.

Senator Kelly - Washington Senator and presidential hopeful, Senator Kelly has build up power very quickly by use of his McCarthyistic anti-mutant platform. He has whipped the states into a mutant-hating frenzy, and the world in general has become less tolerant of mutants since his rise to power. Currently he is pressing his Mutant Registration Act, which will require all mutants to register their name, location, and powers.
