The Vision In 2065, Hilton Hotels Corporation had a vision to build the first five-star hotel on the lunar surface. It was Hilton Hotels Corporation President and CEO Seymour Hilton IV who saw the possibility of constructing a unique hotel for people travelling to the moon.
In 2068, the prestigeous architectural firm of Beaulieu Design Associates began designing the interior and exterior of the building. Borrowing from late 20th century building design and modern modular shapes for smoothness, the five-storey building took form, moving from the intial draft to the final blueprints to the construction site (see map) in less than five years.
Under the guidance and expertise of the space construction company Quantum Construction Inc., the hotel was completed in early 2077 at a cost of $345 million U.S.W.C. dollars
Many names were considered for the new hotel, but only one--Moonlight--surfaced as the ideal name, because it reflected the beauty of both the lunar surface and the hotel.
The Moonlight Hilton Hotel continues the long, rich tradition started by the Hilton Hotels Corporation of providing travellers with comfortable, quality rooms and excellent service all at amazingly affordable prices.
For over a year now, the Moonlight Hilton Hotel has been offering visitors the best in comfort and quality.
