So, you're wondering what I do in my free time besides work on my homepage. Well, not a whole lot.
You see, I spend most of my time in a place called school. I think it is just an interesting form of torture that our teachers swear will help us in life.

Odyssey of the Mind
Odyssey of the Mind is a really fun problem solving competition. If you click here, you can find out more about my experiences with it.
Girl Scouts
I have been in Girl Scouts since I was in first grade, so this is my tenth year. I'm a Senior Girl Scout and I have done many cool things. This past summer, I went to North Carolina for two weeks for a camp called Rocks, Rapids and Ridges. There, I was with girls from all over the US and we went rock climbing. We got to try different types of climbing and hear several women speak about thier climbing experiences, including Katie Brown who won the gold medal for sport climbing in the X-Games the year before. Last year, I also earned my silver award. The silver is the highest honor a Cadette Girl Scout can earn. With another girl from my troop, I planned a bridging workshop for Juniors. We had a blast. After my eighth grade year, my troop went to Savannah, Georgia to see Juliette Low's birthplace. (She was the founder of Girl Scouts.) That was a lot of fun. I also went to camp many times, including one in Michigan where I got to spend two weeks primitive camping. I love Girl Scouts!
Trinity Youth Group
Once a week, I get to go hang with the most awesome youth group at Tuesday Night Live. We're just a bunch of middle/high school Christians who like to hang. We sing, we talk, we play. Sometimes, we even go out. This summer, we already have some cool things planned, like a trip to Cedar Point, an amusement park a few hours away, and a trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (go PA!) to go to a work camp for a week. Unfortunately, our youth minister is getting married and she and her husband will be going to med school in the fall, so we are currently looking for a new one. Good luck Kristen and Dave!
