LEXX: Haley's Comet

Instead of turning it into a tasty snack treat for the LEXX, the crew decides to bring a space module on board and meet up with four kids who want to 'spread the word' of the planet's destruction to the masses.

Cue the usual happenings. We've seen this countless times before: LEXX swallows a snack, a bunch of people are brought on board, Xev and Stan try to have sex with some of them, then in some way they all manage to get killed. There's nothing new here except for the fact that Kai is out of most of the action and the kids get killed by their own stupidity (and a bit of help from a 'black pack'). Okay, so there's a bit of help from 790 as well, who wholeheartedly encourages Haley in killing her alleged friends just so he can be alone with Kai, which shows just how far the loopy robot head has gone from sanity, but this just doesn't provide any more interest in the story. Rather it simply makes you wonder why Stan and Xev haven't found a way to stop him causing trouble. Chaining him down seems a bit of a poor effort as removing his ability to talk might be a better approach. Then again, should they leave the ship again I suppose he does serve some useful functions.

What we have here is just a slightly altered replay of a season two story. Come on guys, you're five episodes off the final end of the series, can't you do better than this?
