House Harkonnen
House Harkonnen was the enemy of House Atreides, and with
the help of Emperor Shaddam IV and his Sardaukar troops, the Harkonnens
staged an attack on the Atreides on Arrakis. In the attack, Duke Leto the
Just was captured and brought before Baron Harkonnen, Thufir Hawat was
captured by the Harkonnens, and Paul and Jessica were tossed into the desert
to die. Then, the Harkonnens were once again in control of Arrakis.
