Crew Evaluation

Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Formerly Captain of the USS Stargazer. Recently Captain of the Enterprise D, Currently Captain of the USS Enterprise E.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard has been at the for-front of many First contact situations, Including the - at the time - unknown FC with the Ferengi. It is then that he lost the Stargazer.

His most important First Contact, was probably the Q-induced encounter with the Borg. It after this encounter, that the Borg attemped to invade earth. And what happened? The assimilated Picard, went to Wolf 359, found that big fllet of ships, and killed them all!

Anyway... the nity gritty. Picard has so far lost all his previous commands. He was forced to abandon the USS Stargazer after the encounter with the Ferengi. He was cleared on a charge of negligance.

Picard was given command of the Federation Flagship. He's not that bad a Captain they thought... after all, he has a tactical manouver named after him!

In 2368, Picard bacame the only human to recover from assimilation after then Captian Riker decided to rescue him.

During the Klingon Civil War, Picard commanded the small blockade fleet which uncovered the Romulan help the Duras was getting. Previous to this, He was arbitrator between Duras and Gowron.

In 2371 (film #1 - Generations)Picard again met the Duras. Although he prevented Soran from wiping out billions of lives, the Duras destroyed the Enterprise-D.

Picard now commands the USS Enterprise-E, And he nearly lost that too. However, for once, he had a change of heart. instead of trying to reason with the Borg, he wanted to kill them all! Well, I was pleasently surprised. However, again, resistance proved that it was not futile (apart from for the Borg).

Send your opinon of Picard to Capt_Data@Geocities.com. It might get posted...
