Yes folks... a dark day (for my friends from the Lounge
- another dark day) is upon us. Unfortunatly, Star Trek is doomed at the
hands of Rick Berman and Brannon Bragga. The dream of Gene Roddenbery is
DYING. Don't try to deny it, it only postpones the inevitable. Paramount
are planning on cancelling DS9 and Voyager if the rating do not improve.
And is it a surprise?? Certainly not! Many trekkers who have watched Star
Trek all their lives, refuse to watch DS9 and Voyager on the grounds that
the writing and acting is not first class as it was in TNG or there is
no propper moral issues that have not already been addressed in the other
two series. In fact, the morals are reversed! Worf has forgotten his relationship
with Troi and his son, Alexander, to have a relationship with Dax! What
is trek comming to? Both DS9 and Voyager have had to take people from TNG
to make them work. Riker has appeared on DS9 (that Thomas btw) Worf of
course, O'Brian... Then on Voyager, we have had Q, then Riker again, and
now with the FC revelation that the Borg origanate in the Delta Quadrant,
Voyager is up to its neck in hard action. Not to mention the rumors that
Janeway is going to reason with them! Doesn't she know 
Well, enough of my babbling... I love trek. I even watch Voyager when I can, some episodes are better than others. I hope that this part of my site has not offended anyone.
