My name is Christy. I'm a software engineer in real life and a polymer clay addict in my spare time. It all started one day in May when I discovered this neat stuff called polymer clay while looking through the Walmart craft section. This little bear was the first thing I made with directions from the Sculpey sample pack. :)

When I'm not working with clay, I like to read sci fi, mysteries, westerns, adventure etc. Basically, anybody that I consider a good author. I also love to go to the zoo and have a membership to the Roger Williams Zoo here in Rhode Island. I am very happily and fairly newly married to a wonderful man that I call my husband. Well, I also call him Dave since that's his name. I haven't managed to corrupt him into being addicted to polymer clay since he has his own hobbies, but he helps me with all sorts of things - like pulling Bic pens apart so I can cover them with clay and modifying a caulking gun to work with a clay gun so I don't break my hand. He also gives me his opinions patiently when I hold up something I'm working on for the tenth time and ask "What do you think of it now?"

There's no real reason for putting up this site, except that its fun to create web pages and with this new hobby I finally have something more interesting to put up than an expanded "About ME" page. Besides, we just got a new scanner and I found out you can scan most clay projects directly instead of going through the time consuming process of taking pictures of them first. :) Hopefully some of the stuff I put up will be of interest to somebody.
