The Library

A rather young woman works diligently at an oak table. Old scrolls, books and parchments surround her. Apparently, she is very engrossed in her work for she doesn't realize she has company until a moment or two later. As she looks up, she smiles a greeting and removes her golden-rimmed glasses. "Welcome to the Library," she says in a hushed tone. "Excuse the mess. I've just found a very interesting document. Oh, please, come right in. My name is Lyra, the tower's librarian. If you need anything, let me know." With that, she goes back to her work.

The nearest shelves hold a couple of books. These books have already been dusted, but it is clear that they have not been read for a very long time. In the back, there are many boxes and crates of long forgotten writing. Lyra seems to be anxious to restore them to a "readable state".
