Founded in April 1976, Trillium is Mississauga's
largest Toastmasters' club with over 50 active members.

Our Members
Our source of strength and vitality,
the members of Trillium come from many diverse backgrounds and
experiences: from students to professionals, the self employed
and the semi-retired; from native-born Canadians to newly-arrived
immigrants.
They range in age from the youthful to the young at heart.
Our members span the spectrum when it comes to their
speaking skills - From absolute beginners to seasoned
and professional speakers.
What brings us together is
our shared commitment to the Toastmasters
program and
our
desire
to help each
other
grow and succeed as leaders and speakers.
Our Achievements
Our name is synonymous with the pursuit of excellence.
Trillium has won over 25 awards from Toastmasters International
including the prestigious President's Distinguished Club. Trillium
has won this award four times in
the last five years.
Members of our club have consistently excelled at
speaking contests organized by Toastmasters
International.
Our crowning achievement occurred in 1986 when then club member, Arabella Bengson, won the World Championship of Public
Speaking Contest. In 2002 Tim Fuchs, our President, won the District 60 Humorous Speech Contest in 2002 and more recently in November 2005 Ash Gulati, member of our club also,won the Distrit 60 Humorous Speech Contest becoming THE NUMBER ONE Humorous Speaker in Ontario.
