The Pareto Cookbook

This site has some of my favourite recipes, including a few family recipes that I received from my grandmother. These recipes represent the cooking styles of many different places, from Brazil and America to Italy and Portugal. Yet most have the common attribute of being quite enjoyable to eat, while quick and easy to prepare.

Note that recipes are meant to be an aide memoire to the chef.  Ingredients have different characteristic in different places and therefore recipes must be adjusted to the existing conditions.  Some ingredients can easily be replaced, while others can be deleted or added to the basic recipes.  Creativity is the name of the game.

To find a recipe, first select its type from the table of contents, then go to the recipe by clicking on its name. You can download or print directly from the recipe's page.
