Web Site Hosting
By Your Internet Service Provider

This method is by far the most economical approach. Costs range anywhere from "free" to "fairly high" costs, this of course will all depend upon your needs and the services provided by your Internet Service Provider. Although, I said "fairly high" costs, in reality the cost is really quite moderate when compared to having to pay four your own hardware, software, personnel, office space and Telco services.

The upside to this approach is that this is the best way to get started. Your Internet Service Provider will have all the necessary equipment and may be able to provide you with technical support in getting your Web site up and running. The downside to this approach is basically lack of control. You will be limited to whatever the ISP utilizes as the Web server software and you can't necessarily set your Web site up the way you like. Another caveat to be aware of is that if your Web site becomes very popular, it may overload your ISP's capacity to provide throughput and connections.

The upside to the downside is that there are plenty of Internet Service Providers available to choose from that will offer the services you require. So let's talk about the range in costs:

[*]Free Web site hosts
[*]Low to moderate cost Web site hosts
[*]Fairly high cost Web site hosts
