Introduction to the Web Site Design Guide

Setting up a Web Site can be fun and easy. However, you should consider several aspects of a Web page design before you get started. For instance, you should consider:

[*]Presentation
[*]Content
[*]Location

Now that I've revealed the secrets of creating a potentially high impact Web Site, I must now say, it will be up to you as to whether or not you will be successful. So, before you go running out and start buying up the Web, you should first create a vision of what your Web Site will offer. You should be able to provide the answers to the following:

[*]How much material do you intend to publish?
[*]How many documents and images?
[*]How much space is required? (In megabytes)
[*]Do you need to request information from visitors of your Web Site?
[*]Who is your targeted audience?
[*]Do you require electronic funds transfer over the Internet?
Okay, now that you've had a chance to envision your Web Site, you can now think about how you will go about creating your presence on the Web. There are several ways in which you can have your Web Site created:

[*]Do it yourself
[*]Hire a consultant
[*]Hire a Web design company

So, why did I choose this site? Good question and the best explanation I can give is:

[*]It's free! (Well, at least for now.)
[*]It was easy and fun! (I did it myself.)
