Past themes of other years have been such things as 'Come as your Favorite Shekespearean Character' with the dances played in an order of an Elizabethan Tea to match, Scotland, 'Otherworld' and others.
This year's theme is "Outragious Garb." Suggested examples of things that would be appropriate are items such as 13th century Moorish in neon-camo hunter fleece, or crossing tudor with Norse-viking. Warning to those with sensitive eyes, fashion sense or historical propriety.
A tradition done at this event, in honor of the day, is what is known as Bjorn's Toast. At this event, the first toast at the feast (which is usually to the King and Queen) is to "Those who have gone before us." In this way we recall and honor Bjorn and other members and friends who are no longer with us.
