Litha
Litha is the summer solstice and the longest day of the year. It is most commonly known as Midsummer's Day. In some traditions, all fires in a village would be extinguished, to be relit from the Midsummer bonfires.
In the year as a day, Litha is high noon. It is associated with the direction of south. In the wheel of the year, the seed sets fruit.
