What it does

Ever thought which student's work you were correcting when looking at a bookkeeping
assignment?

Well, INOM has produced a program that generates individual and different bookkeeping assignments for nearly an infinite number of students.  A solution, in the form of a trial balance (before and after adjustments), a profit or loss report and a balance sheet, is provided for each assignment.  If you have 24 students in your accounting class, then the program produces 24 different but equal assignments.

The program generates assignments for Service businesses and for Trading
businesses.  Teachers are not required to enter any data, the program does it all.

HARDWARE & OPERATING SYSTEM

The program has been written to run on IBM or IBM compatible PCs running Windows© 95, 98, 2000 ME and NT 4.0 or greater.  If Win32S has been installed it will run under Windows 3.1.  A Mac version is not available.

VARIATIONS

The names, sequence of events, businesses, products, amounts and document numbers are chosen randomly making it impossible for a student to transcribe from a colleague's assignment.  The description of each event is randomly chosen from 3 methods.

NUMBER OF TRANSACTIONS

The teacher specifies the number and type of each transaction to be included or excluded if not required.  Minimums and maximums have been included on some items to create reality and to prevent assignments becoming too repetitive.  Where necessary reference numbers are quoted for documents.  Receipt, invoice and cheque numbers are in sequence where required.

NUMBER OF ASSIGNMENTS

The teacher decides the number of assignments to be generated at any one time.  There is a limit of 99 in any one run, all of which are different but contain the same options.  You could then run another 99, all of which would be different.

SITE LICENCE

The registered user has a site licence and may make backup copies as required and produce as many assignments as they wish for as long as they wish.
