New data from the Hubble Space Telescope is bringing some joy
to non-expansionist cosmologists. This page has lain dormant for too
long and is well overdue a major face-lift. The Cugy cosmological
think-tank is getting it's act together at this very moment and will
soon bring forth topical and documented discoveries which, whilst
not guaranteed to stop the Earth spinning, might at least give you
pause for thought as you race towards your own Big Crunch.
This site is being continually developed by a dedicated team of Cosmologists
in Cugy, a small but vibrant village near Neuchâtel Lake in the West of
Switzerland. This site will soon dazzle
and amaze you with the clarity of it's approach to such concepts as
Redshift, the Hubble Constant, the Background Radiation at 2.7°K and
The Swiss Cricket Association.
But before you go ... a photo of M13.
This is a picture of a cluster of half a million stars
which orbits the Milky Way. It is more than 23000 light years away
(only slightly further than Cugy is from you!) It's only problem is
that if the Big Bang is The Truth, then M13 is even
older than the Universe. This being clearly impossible, it must be
that M13 doesn't really exist!
