If we had a General Election
for the most wonderful couple in Lee.
You'd be our utmost selection;
You're as nice as nice can be.

We'd give you a key to the township,
All doors would be opened for you.
You'd be wearing the crowns of friendship
And a medal of kindness too.

But until there is such an election,
We'd like you both to know:
We appreciate you as neighbors
And couldn't wait to tell you so.
