Stand up, stand up,
Date: Fall of 1966
Especially for: Mom and Dad Fuller
to the round oak stove.
It really gets you warm.
Stand tall, stand straight
to that round oak stove
Or your britches it will harm.
It gets quite hot
and then it stops
And leaves you in the cold.
It was really something in its day,
But today we got it sold.
We're gettin' a new-fangled furnace,
tomorrow it should come.
But tonight we'll have to bundle up
'Cause the round oak stove is gone!
More of mom's poems.
Give me some feedback.
