CONOY

Conoy - probably a synonym of Kanawha, but the meaning is unknown; also spelled Canawese, and Ganawese. Also called: Piscataway - from a village on Piscataway Creek where the Conoy chief resided.

Between the Potomac River and the western shore of the Chesapeake
