        THE LITTLE FLOWER
See the little flower there, half hidden from view?
Quick, pick it! I fear it will be tread into the dust.
Even if it doesn’t find a place in your bouquet
on the table, honor it with a moment of painful recognition
feel it with your fingers as you place it in your hair.

I feel uneasy that time will end before I become aware,
and words will devour everything, a shadow engulfed
by the porous night.

Though its not big and robust, one might even call it fragile or
delicate; its pale blue is pretty and its faint fragrance is fine: honor
this flower, use it in your beautiful bouquet,
while there’s still light of day.

       WEST HILLS
The days are endured
with trees teaching humility.

Enough of rain effaced things:
friends fade to pale gray,
to an icy drizzle
whose sibilant sound dissolves whole days

the nights fill with water,
a flood of tears;
and, the shriek maliciously tears
through fragile flesh.

An echo of clouds consoles us,
at the truant freedom, dear;
while the scorpion silently stalks
mystical geometric uncertainties,
and the mute bear pirouettes
between twin eternities.

       TERRIBLY WRONG
Something inside’s gone terribly wrong,
euphemistically speaking, and now endures dry rot.
And, muttering “God’s will be done,”
all the strong understand are echoes, of their own self-serving thoughts.

Thus you litter the screen with symbols that explain the thrill tyrants feel,
while life becomes frozen instead of fair and tranquil
regardless how it begins: people who retain the ability to hurt and kill
others with impunity become corrupt, vice ridden and evil.

Dear God, this is how it goes,
a contemporary tragedy, a sad consequence
when for silver and gold everything bought and sold
though once originally free, is now obtained by belligerence.

How far they’ve fallen from grace
their lying words create despair and hate.
But the fish blinded by its hunger, is slave to its appetites;
and, can’t tell the bait from the fisherman.

       A GRIMM LESSON FORGOTTEN
The communal goose, whose innards
are catacombed with golden eggs,
deliberately laid them one at a time.
She, conversed her goose wits with out words with her eyes,
waddled the barnyard like those talon bearing whores
who ogle their prey…

And, making a great deal of noise
never says anything. Never says a word,
they don’t want to answer for anything.

And, crinkling razor sharp wrinkles in malicious grins
jangle their relative affluence.
While they eat three square meals a day,
it noises about articulating her concerns
growing fat on golden grains.

Now, as the butcher sharpens his knife,
she voices her distress, her backbone is iciness
and skin thrills with goose flesh, so beseechingly
it would move a tombstone to tears.

But, see those feathers as they shine!
Exit from the steaming slit
her ruby red entrails,
devoid of any golden eggs, but one.

       MIDDLE AGED PASSION
A beautiful daughter of Rebbecca bedded with me one night
that stretched into a life time together: we seem a meadow quietly asleep
and stretching in pleasant fatigue, I feel hazy in my dream
the sad beauty of life and the sweet innocence of our shared delight.

I gaze at her cheeks slightly flushed with the subsiding fire
of her matchless passion, her great heart,
her fragrant hair that my hand slowly fingers; and, I can’t imagine life apart.
Whispered words slowly float across the vast silences,
where my thoughts and I’ve retired.

You’ve departed. Or, closing the door, taken refuge from my shower of kisses,
       and gone to sleep,
which is the same thing. I caress with my eyes every inch of your divine form,
from the skein seascape that’s your hair, to your frozen ice field feet.

If in the fading light of early evening, when the stars are snuffed out
by the powerful moon, oh sweet lady wake and turn your eyes on me,
and eclipse the World and silence the noisy city.

       WITCHES SABBATH
There were 13 there drinking red wine in the abandoned Abbey’s ruined refectory, and each of them had a skull for a chalice. The fireplace was alive with red burning embers;
the candles sputtered in the smoke, and the table exhaled from the expired feast
the smell of the grave in early Spring.

And when George spoke or sang, it sounded sonorous and strong like golden notes
echoing from a long black tunnel with perfect acoustics.

In the mean time, the modern Prudhomme devilishly displayed, by the red glowing coals
and feeble flickering candles, his hermitic book of ancient incantations,
when with a hiss a huge singed moth fell fluttering to the table.

This moth was still dazed when later a big black hairy spider stealthily crept across
the cluttered table toward the magical tome and moth incapacitated by its injuries.

But already transformed the wicked witches and evil warlocks had departed through the window and chimney, some by broom-plane, some by tong-limousine, and George on the tail of a pen – riding in the passenger seat of the helicopter.

       FOR YOU
For you who were
removed from the garland circle
and Winter’s laughing silver rains

in Faure melodies
shadows swallowed in gray seas

for you who were.

The hungry road, hurtling toward
the Stygian tollgate

fresh feast apostate
harder hearted than Autumn smelling graves

for you who fell victim
to the head hunters

not the one wanted
but, hey, any body’s bounty will do

to be left alone, isolated and vulnerable
among the grim reapers with tombstone hearts;

and drove fast flying past
the last silver driven deepest
in the heart of friendship

Death, the rag broker
selling short. The fault
is theirs who own the seven stones

and, whose whim is our yolk,
the ones with their puerile plates
who gave Death his license.

Beside the diked in banks of the river
blood and mud and a failing pulse
good bye, reeling Earth

They hypocritically lament
and conspiratorially bow cynical heads
lost in life’s labyrinth
devoid of understanding.

       ANOTHER VIEW OF PORTLAND
Firs, rhododendrons and ferns
slowly the moon climbs the stairs to Heaven,
where day had hidden her.
Its beauty is undeniable,

But on closer examination its pocked trolite is bleak and barren.
The deciduous plants stand, with their exposed black limbs
above brown clay, fecund and verdant. The smiling moon
has the look of yin and yang, a grinning skull whose wane light is bonelike.

Birds who used to Winter in draws with Southern exposures
now slumber perched like typological symbols
on the wires above the long flowing, dirt gray freeways
and busy asphalt-field-intersections benefiting from the heat.

Turn right, arbors block your view.
to the left is the same obstruction.
And dead litter is strewn along the arterials
That the juvenile offenders and volunteers pick up.

       AN AUTUMN AFTERNOON
The black old oak was immense and impressive, in the Spring green field,
where publicly posturing the Parliament of birds held its session;
in the pale blue, the painfully pale blue ocean
clouds jostled like a great crowding throng.
And, determined to become one, you cried out, “He’s here!”
And, latter in my arms murmured, “I love you.”
and grass grew all around like a great inland sea,
and it was a lovely Autumn afternoon.
I re-read our love letters,
a record of youth’s last Summer,
grass cast its green flames on your Sun warmed face,
a fragrant, festive light that penetrated everywhere;
intense, radiant and alive it reflected from your beautiful brown eyes,
and I wanted you so much it hurt.
And we were wanderers who had discovered
a wonderful new continent, yet to be explored;
an internal land of ecstasy and grass, and all awash with love and light!

       PINWHEEL
Not like a big beautiful bird
lost in solitary flight,
these poems pinwheel across the blue sky
   of my mind, in a great rainbow flock.

Suddenly, startled by an unidentified sound,
   Lord, your loving presence
is revealed to me,
   as you touch the Earth near by.

       INCREDIBLE
All the insanity,
   all the stupid, insipid ideas,
       all the empty needless fears,

all the hate and pain
finally have left.

I have inhaled
an incredible rainbow

that radiates
   luminous light
       from every inch of my body.

       A WAILING WALL
One day they began construction, and at first
I never noticed, as it went up brick by brick.

“Its for your own safety”, they said, from the top
of the big blank walls which towered all around,

where I sit grieving about all the things I would
do outside. Inside, there is nothing but emptiness.

Small bits of refuse scud across the barren ground,
as fate devours day after day. And, I reflect how worthless

this bleak prison has become, created by tyrants without shame,
without compassion, and without any idea of the consequences.

       THE FUNERAL
Recently attending my mother-in-laws small funeral
I listened to the learned Rabbi’s extolling eulogy;
and, I began to abstract and speculate about man’s Sphinx fate,
and as I listened, while the words chased each other around the cemetery
which were describing the life of some one who had become near to me,
it was like watching shadows flit across a darkened room through a key hole:

The secret of life remained a riddle no one can understand, and all the axioms, and
systems and Aphorisms are nothing but words designed to camouflage our ignorance.
But, I realized admitting our ignorance is the first step towards wisdom. Where was and what about the distant dead loved one we came to pay our respects to? I repudiated and refused to become the slave of carefully selected politically correct words: and beside a commonplace all the wisdom I left with was that life is a Dream where all life’s visions
are mysteriously produced.

After the services were finished, and our loved one was honored and laid to rest,
when the departing mourners drove past I couldn’t help but reflect how each of our fates
would be the same, and the differences between the departing was largely superficial.
Each departing person’s status was determined based on badges of apparel, which were
nothing more than complex molecules of dead creatures who lived long ago, with dead fleeces of sheep, the bark of plants, hides of cattle and furry felt off little breasts.

All was a moving rag screen of cultural vanity, the shreds and remains
from Nature’s charnel market, where everyone has to go and attire oneself daily;
and, which delayed their inexorable fate, eventual decay; where they, too,
would end up in the entrails of worms. It was touching watching the old people
trying to comfort each other, while discretely hiding the grim satisfaction of temporarily out witting death and out lasting another human being.

Strange how many of the present company closed there eyes to the most obvious facts, and amidst daily wonders and contemporary terror live inert among oblivion and stupidity. But, unfortunately mankind is and always has been a dumb blockhead, who would rather eat and metabolize than reason and think! My long hair and the occasion again proved prejudice, where people rationalize their hatreds, is their master;
and, mere superficial desires lead humanity around by the nose.

When was the last time anyone here has marveled at a sunset or a sunrise:
when was the last time any one here has visited their heart of hearts?
The one exception was the kindness, quiet decency and fundamental goodness
displayed by what the Rabbi laughingly referred to as the kaddish crew: may God’s love
and mercy shine upon them and their loved ones all the days of their lives.
               RUMOR MILL
   All statements contained in the Rumor Mill are the opinion of its author.

               SOCIAL SECURITY
   The Rumor Mill believes that the right wing Republicans are attacking Social Security. And, they are trying to minimize political fallout by having Greenspan serve as the point on their assault. It is sad to note that Greenspan originally won what was favorable of his current reputation by developing a plan to bail Social Security out and make it fiscally solvent. He pointed out at the time Social Security’s essential role, in making America an economically secure and prosperous nation. Since that august accomplishment, Greenspan has been primarily known as the government economist who, during the second greatest depression of the 20th century, kept telling America, when called to address various Congressional Committees, how great the economy was performing. Greenspan lied, while trying to improve the country’s economic performance by fooling the public into embracing positive expectations. Current inadequate economic theory holds that its expectations which determine how an economy performs, if one improves economic expectations then you theoretically improve economic performance. Government economists are notorious for their unrealistically optimistic views pertaining to the economy. And, its important to realize that Greenspan has been a Republican all of his adult life, which means he became a Republican before the party was politically displaced by its current masters - the radical right wing.   How the mighty have fallen.
   Social Security is essential to a healthy American economy. In a nation where 50% of its citizens retire after working hard all their lives without one concrete asset to show for it, Social Security represents the primary source of income for 75% of the nation’s Senior Citizens. It functions as a ballast for the economy, stabilizing the economy by guaranteeing business a solid foundation of sustainable consumer demand during down turns in the business cycle, which reduces the economic downturns severity and duration. And, while nobody gets rich living on the modest sums of moneys provided to this countries elderly, it has eliminated the specter of poverty among this country’s Senior Citizens; and, enabled Senior Citizens to retain their own independent living arraignments, and their dignity, and to not become financial burdens for their families; or, worse still, wards of the state. A strong Social Security means an economically secure America for all of its citizens.
   The Republican right wing alternative to America’s Social Security is fatally flawed. The right wing Republican alternative is to privatize a portion of the program like they did with Medicare, this is because they haven’t had an idea in 25 years, they keep making the same worn out mistakes over and over. Don’t be fooled, this alternative leaves Social Security without adequate funding and eventually bankrupts the system. It is a corrupt alternative that is doomed to failure. It is corrupt because the private alternatives are owned by the factional interests of the right wing Republicans. Also, it is corrupt because the right wing Republicans already are heavily invested in them, and forcing Americans to invest in their private mutual funds for retirement, will in the short term increase the value of the right wing Republican’s investments. For the right wing Republicans there is no down side, they are invested anyway. And, if the system no longer benefits the majority of America’s citizens so what? They stand to profit from the misfortune of others, and their conduct demonstrates that’s all that matters to them. However, the right wing Republicans must think (I’m an optimist for suggesting it) that everyone is as greedy and stupid as they are, because under their Rep. Pres., George Bush Jr.’s leadership the stock market had the largest single crash in its history. During the crash it was not unusual for citizens to lose up to 75% of their savings and retirement investments. The crash occurred literally in seconds. Unfortunately, small private investors, who happen represent the majority of American investors, have to wait until the market closes before finding out how disastrous the price is that they are finally able to sell at. Four years later and American businesses and its citizens still haven’t recovered the money they lost almost instantaneously, when the Republican created bubble burst – see previous issues. Another fatal flaw is that it will additionally destabilize the investment markets making these events much more likely to occur in the future. The future characteristic of these market events, besides happening more frequently, is that they will be much more severe in extent. And, why is the American public being asked to incur greater risk, besides Republican greed? The historical rate of return for the stock market is around 9%, which just happens to be about the risk free return of the existing Social Security System. In plain simple English, there is no benefit for incurring the considerably greater risk. If one of these more frequent and more severe events happens to occur when you are about to retire, you are out of luck: you will not be able to retire. Unlike Social Security these investments aren’t guaranteed.
   The right wing Republican plan is obsolete, its over 100years old. And, unfortunately, back then the plan that the right wing Republicans intend to employ didn’t work, which is why Keynesian economics was developed. It was created to fix the maladies (the negative externalities) of the existing economic order. Today, what the right wing Republicans are urging is a return to that preexisting antiquated system. A system whose excesses made an inefficient system like Communism look good by comparison. Can a Keynesian system work in today’s Global economy? Yes! It proved its worth in the United States, in the early stage of the Cold War era, before the factional interest of the radical right decided to turn the US government (read Pres. Eisenhower’s farewell address) into their private golden trough, with US government budgets containing extensive corporate welfare components disguised as excessive military spending; and, it proved its utility again in Western Europe, where it was responsible for the prolonged period of unprecedented prosperity during most of the second half of the 20thcentury. It has worked so well that Europe is currently the most attractive target of America’s factional right wing, who hope to exploit Europe, like they have disastrously done in the United States.
America’s problems are of its own making. The right wing Republican’s view of government is exposed by the over $300 million war chest it raised to run for President in 2004. It represents an investment not a contribution. During the last four years the right wing Republicans have received hundreds of billions in return for fraudulently taking control of America’s government, and, they expect to get even more, with their attempt to buy America’s government in 2004. But, besides the World’s largest debt a projected 2.4 trillion, what has the U.S. gotten to show for the last four years? NOTHING! The US has 1 in 5 living in poverty after four years of depression and stagnation, the US has more children now living in poverty than ever before in the history of this country, the US has the worst health care system in the industrial world, the US is only 1 of 3 countries in the industrial World without some form of universal health care, Costa Rica has a better health care system than we do, the US currently can not send all of its children who qualify and can afford the cost of admission to college, and the US has more people in prison per capita than any other country in the World the over whelming majority of which are there for political crimes. And, when was the last time you heard the propaganda machine discuss US trade deficits and America’s relative standard of living? The list of greed driven incompetence’s by the right wing Republicans is to extensive to exhaust here, besides it is beyond the limited scope of this essay on Social Security.
The right wing Republican’s have created a scenario of tyranny, where the right wing Republicans view government not as vehicle to ameliorate societal issues, but as a means of making excessive amounts of money, by means of exploitive policies that only benefit a few at the expense of the oppressed many. Government becomes a conduit from the pockets of the public into the accounts of a few very rich individuals. Please read previous issues!

           IRAQ
One of the on going frustrations in writing a rag like MOCKINGBIRD is the imperfect access to facts. The resulting information converted from available data flows at an irregular pace determined primarily by when the data comes trickling in. It forces a scenario where analysis proceeds at a corresponding irregular pace. What that means for our patient readers is a certain amount of redundancies, as issues are repeatedly covered as additional information becomes available, and due to their relative complexity they require being placed into meaningful contexts, which is what creates the unfortunately necessary redundancies. We apologies, but short of not adequately analyzing, or inadequately covering contemporary issues there is no convenient happy solution. Please bear with us as we muck along as best as we’re able in this best of all possible Worlds.
Republican Pres. Bush “PULLS BACK” from claims Iraq was making weapons of mass destruction, are the factional right dominated media (their propaganda machine) head lines across the nation. In other words he lied to start a war, which was really fought for a personal vendetta and to access Iraq’s oil resources, while simultaneously indirectly attacking US entitlements like Social Security and Medicare, by squandering over $200,000,000,000. Further complicating the issue is the radical right’s new ploy of manipulating crooked democracies rather than backing a strong man dictatorship, which is less expensive; because, they no longer have to pay the dictator’s cut; and, is politically more palatable to the radical right’s US political constituency, which is big on superficial appearances and weak on substantive realities.
It seems that Iraq’s Hussein had a terminal disease. And, in spite of assurances to the radical right that he would make the necessary political moves to assure political stability for Iraq, he reneged. Two reasons seem to be at the bottom of these developments. First, there was a falling out between the two sets of thieves, when the radical right lost the US white house for eight years. Second, Hussein felt a tyrant and parent’s natural desire for immortality. He wanted to live on through a dynasty he tried to create, to be headed by his two sons. The sons did not meet with the approval of the radical right, who were busy improving relations with the exiled Shiites in case they managed to over throw Iraq’s existing government, in the tradition of Iran’s recent revolution.
The radical right continue their diversionary and extortionist motivated terrorist attacks in Iraq. However, the targeted civilian population has correctly identified the radical right as their assailants, which partially nullified its intended effects. Unfortunately, the Iraq civilians thought it was the US military that committed the terrorist attack on its police candidates instead of fifth column efforts by corrupted terrorist partisans. The US radical right had hoped to legitimatize their intended Iraq puppet government and extort from the Iraq people support for that puppet government, as a result of these most recent terrorist attacks. Also, the radical right wanted to displace Iraq’s law enforcement agency by murdering legitimate candidates and replacing them with individuals more malleable to their influence. There are certain striking similarities between the violent events which occurred to Iraq’s police personnel and what happened to the legitimate personnel in the Soviet Union’s KGB during the period of corruption at the conclusion of the Cold War Era, when efforts were made to gain control of those respective institutions by the radical right. Further, the radical right wished to discredit the legitimate violence directed toward the US military, by Iraq political opposition; and undermine their political support, while it continues America’s military occupation of their country.   The right wing terrorist bombings of police candidates and civilians are designed to confuse the situation in America and Iraq and distract the public. The radical right hopes to divert the public, while it continues to use Iraq’s oil revenues to replace the money that the radical right lost during the Republican caused stock market crash. The radical right hopes that the continued theft of Iraq’s oil resources will diminish in importance, when personal public safety becomes a pressing problem. And, the Iraq people aren’t supposed to notice that the temporary government experiences being forced on them is patterned after the most politically unstable region of the World, in what was formerly Yugoslavia, with its rotating leadership that lasted only while there was a Tito to control things. It appears the radical right is planning to fragment Iraq, like they did the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia, in an effort to maintain control of the oil revenues. The projected date being delayed until after 2005 is a greed driven effort to cover their bets, if Iraq some how retains independence and stability, then the radical right will have siphoned off adequate funds to cover their padded projected needs. Who says power doesn’t corrupt.

           POLITICAL VIOLENCE
For over the last 12 years locally we have witnessed what appears to be politically motivated violence. These are personal acts of violence, which escalate over the election year, and if true, are designed to influence political outcomes. Locally, we look to each national election year with a degree of concern, knowing that it will probably bring in its wake an established pattern of violence. In each of the last three national elections we have witnessed a sequence of murders all occurring in Democratic controlled districts. It begins in late Winter and early Spring with two female’s murders. This year the media covered two acts of violence against 14 year old girls. One was shot in the head, but she miraculously survived and was fortunately able to identify her assailant. The other act of violence against a young girl was a brutal combination rape murder. The outcome is being eagerly covered by the media.
If the pattern holds up we can expect two more sets of violence to transpire before this election cycle is over. The next, usually occurs mid-Summer and is followed by a third that takes place prior to the elections in the Fall. This is the pattern that the violence has previously taken. First, two young females are murdered early in the year. Then, somebody else younger gets assaulted, in a more violent sex related crime. Last election it was a boy about 10 yrs. old who was sexually abused by a pervert, who was about to be sentenced for a series of sex crimes, who abused the boy and then slit the child’s throat. The child survived the horrible ordeal. Finally, a month before the election we witnessed in the media a toddler abducted from the streets of our largest city. The needs of the media have been met in the last three elections with escalating violence to ever younger victims. And, this year it is beginning right on schedule, this time starting with the 14 yr old girls. Call me paranoid if you wish, but I am not personally threatened; and, this pattern has persisted now for three elections, which any one can verify for them selves. And, unfortunately, the first portion of the pattern has already happened again.
In an attempt to better understand what we are witnessing lets place America’s experience with political violence in a historical perspective. However, before we begin let’s first look at the two primary political participants, in our two party system, and then try and evaluate what their recent roles, if any, have been with regard to politically motivated violence. The Republican Party has been the most vociferous running for law and order. The Democrat Party, while championing individual rights, has made the tough decisions to vote for the unpopular taxes to pay for the budgets that pay for the police that make our communities safer places to live. Ironically, the Republicans have made empty claims to be for Law and Order and tough sentencing, while not adequately funding programs to make these a political reality. And, unfortunately they seem to have benefited politically from these acts of violence, which doesn’t necessarily mean they were involved in perpetrating them.
The Rumor Mill’s believes that these acts of violence are not accidental, nor are they even coincidental. If they are a deliberate pattern, and they are; then, they are deliberate acts, which have specific and deliberate motivation attached to them. The motivation for these crimes is at present only a hypothesis whose probability varies dependent on how one weighs the facts. The motive for the radical right seems to be two fold. First, there is the political motivation, which the pattern points to, and if true represents an extreme degree of hypocrisy and cynical corruption probably by extreme members of the radical right. Second, there is social motivation, where those extreme elements are saddling society with their private agenda. Both components need careful objective scrutiny to determine whether they’re true. And, if true, what should be done about it. Common sense dictates that an open honest discussion, which involves all points of view and not just the accepted views of a power elite, should carefully examine this complex situation.
The pattern of violence that culminates just prior to national elections implies political motivation. The fact that the violence always occurs in Democratic controlled districts while circumstantial is not conclusive, because Democrats control the more populous districts where more violence tends to occur. However, some of the election year violence has occurred in Democratic controlled rural districts. And, not one act of violence has ever occurred, during the 12 year time frame reviewed, in a Republican controlled district. It is thought by some that this political violence originated in the covert political violence the US intelligence community engaged in at the end of the Cold War Era in Central America and the Muslim Middle East. The pattern is a centuries old one, first observed and publicly commented on by Spinoza, where a country’s actions that are used against an adversary during times of international conflict are then subsequently turned against its own population in the ensuing period of peace. Spying on private citizens began with Herbert Hoover. But, domestic spying and domestic covert operations didn’t become established until the 60s during the Cold War Era. However, it was not until Nixon’s Republican administration that they became numerically significant. The Republican lead intelligence community’s covert operations finally became independent during the Watergate Era, while trying to protect the Republican President from any negative political fall out generated from some of their more dubious illegal operations, with a policy they called deniability, which meant the actions were secret and independent of any government supervision. This allowed the covert branches of government the ability to branch out into activities that if subjected to government oversight and control never would have occurred, and so they first involved themselves in weapons and drug trading. It was then that the radical right came into existence as an independent entity. And, it was then that the radical right first embraced domestic violence, during the Reagan/Bush administration, when it targeted IV drug users and homosexuals for genocidal extermination. Here is where the political and social motivation begin to blur.
The social motivation was initiated and instituted with the carefully contrived crack epidemics of the early Reagan/Bush administration. It provided vast sums of money necessary for the radical right’s independent World wide covert and overt operations, as they muscled in on first the supply and then distribution networks of the international drug trades. And, it provided the pretense, in the form of a contrived national crises to superimpose their belief on other citizens, which in other words was to subject society to the yolk of their tyranny. The radical right tethered this with a huge propaganda effort from the factional interests of the right wing’s newly acquired important companies in the media and entertainment industries. Companies acquired from money said to be embezzled from the US government for unnecessary weapons systems purchases during the last decade of the Cold War, when the Soviet Union and East Europe were in a state of economic collapse. The other primary source of income was illegal felony stock market manipulation, which eventually created the bubble whose burst made the recent stealing of Iraq oil revenues seem so expedient, to a variety of parties for a variety of reasons. The homosexuals received a pardon, perhaps temporary, while primary attention was directed at the recreational IV drug users.
The radical right have been involved in US politics from its inception. After the precedence was established that civil rights could be usurped over the recreational use of drugs, it was found that the targeted heroin and cocaine users constituted only ½ % of the population, which soon began to be depleted. The radical right controlled populist movement became greedy, when they started running out of their initial targeted victims. The radical right’s domestic populist operatives had become used to an elevated standard of living based on a certain number of victims being available. Also, its an unfortunate fact but these movements undergo internal transformations, as the populist movement’s inherent corruption morally degenerates the participating people, whose values soon become warped to reflect the cruel and brutal vice ridden behaviors they are conditioned to. Also, as the radical right movement transforms a new type of participant is attracted to their organization, and they soon become numerically significant. Simultaneously, the extreme elements rise through the ranks to the dominate positions of power, while all questions and dissident opinions quickly become eliminated, with the axiom you’re either with us or you’re against us determining all policy discussions. The decision was made, in order to expand the populist movement and make it more politically influential, to expand the targeted victims to include people who used pot which meant approx. 150 million more people became potential victims, and for the populist operatives that meant happy days were here again. During the populist movement’s transformation, it was determined that genocide was acceptable for the heroin and cocaine drug trade participants, except their own operatives of course. Further, torture and murder became viewed as normal and acceptable methods of operation, which was not surprising for a movement taken over by its most extreme elements, whose philosophy entailed “whatever it takes”. Previous experience with tyranny and its most virulent form the populist majority were either unknown or ignored. And, the populist movement took off like a runaway train out of control. People who had supported their initial efforts to exterminate the heroin and cocaine traffic became the next set of targeted victims, because they occasionally used pot. And, when those numbers began to fall off other victims where actively and aggressively sought.
The transformed radical right expanded their lists of targeted people, to include individuals for no other reason than they could be subliminally predisposed and induced to engage in immoral criminal behavior. The fact that it made greater profits for the radical right operatives, who received more money whenever greater numbers of crime were committed, was discretely ignored. Political considerations and expediency increased in importance when new lists of potential targeted victims were determined. Occupations were targeted, like law enforcement, to increase the influence of the radical right at the nation’s local levels. And, teachers were targeted, to undermine popular support of public schools (schools create educated citizens who are harder to control, also they create citizens who have increased expectations and that means citizens who aspire for better jobs and better lives, which conflict with the radical right plans to third worldize American labor markets with 80% of the people stuck in low paying dead end jobs with corresponding low standards of living- except for the vice ridden, corrupt puppets of tyranny) and schools were still being perceived as continuing to function as the poor man’s legacy for a better future for their children. A review of the local propaganda journals will demonstrate an inexplicable distribution of certain classes of sex oriented crimes, with those two occupations being grossly over represented. One example is when for over ¼ of a year only teachers were reported as having committed statutory rape, which is more than remarkable its impossible without external manipulation. The radical right were trying to erode support of public schools, it was an important political goal for their private agenda, which included an inferior public school system alternative thought to be advantageous to certain right wing business objectives. Finally, it has degenerated enough now that an individual who is disliked can be targeted, or if a person happens to hold an honest opinion that the radical right disagrees with the radical right views that individual as fair game. And any individual viewed as having dissident leadership potential is enough to make them either qualify for being a potential targeted victim, or set up to corrupt and/or morally compromise them, to keep them from publicly complaining.
This year the politically motivated violence occurred right on schedule, with the to two 14 yr old girl victims. It is rumored that they were not approved by the radical right. It is believed that they were youngsters who while 13 yrs old made mistakes. Strangely, the radical right view 13 as a particularly dangerous year in an individual’s life, because they aren’t motivated by greed yet and aren’t afraid of living on the streets, which they view as an adventure, and which creates a situation for the radical right where fear isn’t an effective motivator. Formerly, when youngsters made mistakes in the difficult business of growing up they learned from them and life went on. However, if the radical right are around that is not an option, kids can’t make mistakes, because, the radical right try to isolate kids from certain aspects of life, which means they can’t act in ways the radical right target as unacceptable. The two young girls were thought by the radical right to be negative influence on the other children. Further, the perpetrators of the crimes were not approved of by the radical right, too; and, were set up to engage in these violent crimes, with the subliminal technologies now employed by the radical right field operatives. Finally, it represents a couple of big pay days for the local operatives and their bosses, who are trying to make a reputation for themselves with the national folk. It is interesting to point out that the local leadership stated they were not going to engage in certain types of violent crimes, when the radical right national leadership left the region in their charge. It took less than a month for them to engage in the same types of violent crimes and targeting youngsters for their victims.
The fundamental problem is not caused by any particular tyrant. If that were the case the solution would be easy. Its easy to dispose of a tyrant, provided one doesn’t care about the consequences. But, the problem is more deeply rooted than that. If one disposes of a tyrant history has shown that another one will replace the first, with probably a more virulent form of tyranny than the first. What needs correcting are the deeply rooted causes, which is a much more difficult proposition. The problem becomes how to rid ourselves of tyranny!
The rumor Mill hopes this brief explanation will help us understand politically motivated violence by placing it in a historical perspective and analyzing it. The political component is obvious, it’s the usual old fashioned greed driven policies that will be pursued whenever the right wing candidates win office. The social objective is more obscure, but discernable for those who care to dig deeply into these individuals personal lives for characteristics which are objectionable to the radical right. This will progressively become more difficult as the radical right transforms into classic patterns of tyranny, with a broader base of potential victims to choose from.

And, as a foot note, it is curious but not surprising watching the radical right operatives not get upset about the graft and corruption phony wars and the destruction of Medicare and Social Security represent. One would think they intend to cash in on another form of insurance. One based on tyranny and rests on the backs of their fellow citizens.

           A PERSONAL NOTE
It is self serving to say that some body is paranoid and that’s why they don’t demonstrate an interest in either the radical right prostitutes or the radical right perverts. The alternative is that some one is not attracted by people who are spiritually dead, and that they are not interested by people with systemic dry rot in their souls. I am that person. Call it paranoid if it makes you feel any better, but these things are morally wrong and repulsive to me. I have no strange and perverse appetites that I am aware of, and I have lived for 53years striving to know myself. I have never hurt anybody.   I do not fear the radical right in the least, what I fear is to dishonor myself. With that in mind my thoughts words and deeds are as close to one as I can make them, at least that is the goal I incessantly strive for. And, I always act in private as though I were in a crowd and in a crowd as though I am before God, which I believe all of us are. They say I am paranoid. I say I am merely trying to be a good and decent man. But, the fact is their behavior makes them morally bankrupt, while my behavior merely makes me an honest and honorable man. Oh, yes, I’ve been happily married for over 30 years to the same remarkable lovely lady that it has been my pleasure to grow old with. We have two delightful boys, young men now, who are genuinely good people and a pleasure to know. They take after their Mother. What she sees in me, I haven’t a clue?

           A MODEST PROPOSAL
In any human endeavor, for progress to be made it is important to ask the correct questions. Currently, the US is experiencing an unprecedented array of problems. And, while the tendency is to try and address all of them at once, it is more productive to prioritize the problems and then try and deal with the most important problems first. Prerequisite to our problem identifying and solving endeavors is to develop a fundamental understanding of the characteristics society should manifest.
The first question which must be resolved is what type of nation do we want this to be? Is the country to be free or enslaved? Before answering such a straight forward and basic question, we need to understand the ramifications of the respective alternatives.
In a free state there is an underlying equality, which serves as a guiding light for the resolution of any issue as it arises. Individuals regardless of their level of prosperity will posses themselves and a basic level of material possessions if only enough to cover their natural nakedness. All citizens should have the inherent God given right and responsibility of determining what to do with both their person and their property, to the extent that it does not directly impair another’s right to do the same. No pretense no matter how important and pressing can take president and usurp that basic axiomatic right.
In a tyranny there is only one way, too, the tyrants, no other ways are acceptable, and any deviation are either looked at suspiciously or aggressively attacked. Individuals who think are viewed as potential threats, and any body with ambition and ability is forced to work for the tyrant’s benefit at the expense of everybody else. In a Democracy ambition and ability are primarily utilized for the good of society. The child has a right to grow up agreeing, in pre-established molds, they are doomed to live their life as echoes of other people’s opinions and beliefs. In a Democracy the individual decides for them self what they wish to be and how they wish to live, they can make their dreams into realities and pursue wonders past the stars if that is what they wish to do. Their lives really are their own, they can live them in ways which make them happy and promote their prosperity, even if a powerful majority disagrees. This is why progress is impaired or disappears entirely in a tyranny. And, to a freedom loving individual living in a tyranny can become like a living death.
It should be realized that all tyrannies come into being for the best possible reasons. They usually are established under the fair pretext of an emotionally charged excuse. And, are precipitously hurried into under some urgent guise or another only to be regretted and repented at the good citizens’ leisure subsequent to the event that lead to its implementation. It is one of the sad and enduring lessons of history that liberty once lost is rarely realized again. Further, the importance of that paramount blessing can not be over estimated. Every virtue and each pleasure, which promotes mankind’s happiness, rests firmly on a foundation of freedom. It is the basis of God’s moral universe, and man’s system of law reflects that basic fact.
In any free Democratic society citizens possess certain inalienable civil rights. The function of those rights and the rest of the laws and legal apparatus of society are to protect the right of free will and self determination of its individual citizens. The argument that individual rights are some how subordinate to societies is a false one based on sophistical logic. Society is an epistemological abstraction which can be reduced to a common noun, while any individual is a proper noun who is the basic unit of society. If a society protects the rights, both personal and property, of its individual members, then the rights of society take care of themselves. By establishing individual rights on the aggregate, society becomes a safe place protected by egalitarian safe guards, which is why it is a central characteristic in a healthy Democracy.
Mutual safety is one of the original reasons that motivated man to come together into society and to relinquish some of the personal freedoms found living alone in a perfect state of Nature. It forms a solid and enduring foundation for society when coupled together with freedom derived from secure civil rights and other material advantages, which serve to promote and enhance the individual’s prosperity generated by living in proximity and working in concert with their fellow citizens. These basic lessons have with stood the test of time.
Today, for emotional charged reasons, i.e. the radical right who irrationally claim only they can be for children, we watch while society disregards these time honored truths. The radical right irrationally claim that only they can be for children, which gives them the moral high ground to justify abusing power for their private ends. We are told that certain individuals who lead them know best how every one else must live. They have established a two tiered system, where most of society is compelled to obey as they dictate, while they are free to live as they think best. The result is that we now live in a tyranny. It is a pernicious and insidious tyranny, because it manipulates the information which the majority receives. And, as a result of being misinformed on every important and substantive issue the majority now functions as a virulent tool for their own tyranny. The majority are largely motivated by fear, where they frequently are confronted with the specter of destitute dissidents standing with signs begging for food and work in the streets of their communities. There is a privileged class of career criminals who are corrupt and vice ridden and who either commit immoral criminal acts or induce and set up others to do the despicable deeds. The control of the government has been usurped and now functions to make money for a wealthy few, with programs like the health care system that is the most unfair in the World; and, while giving worse health to 1/3 of its poor, its Sr. citizens, and chronically ill, it receives money annually for everyone and only provides health care to the few wealthy individuals who can afford its additional charges. Or, spending over half its government’s budget annually on a bloated military budget (more than the rest of the World combined spends each year), which bankrupts (the US is the World’s Largest Debtor Nation) its own nation while fighting a phony war against one tribe over a country nobody wants in Afghanistan, and extorting our nation into fighting another war that’s designed to bankrupt our own country while stealing another nation’s (Iraq) resources. These already mentioned examples are mentioned again to document the correct claim of tyranny.
The principle cause of the majority of immoral criminal acts conducted each year in this country is the genocide policy of the radical right, which as we’ve previously noted are planned by career criminals, who manipulate others into committing the crimes, while they are free to go plan the next crime to afflict society with. If we cease the policy of genocide we will make our communities safer places. By stopping the policy of genocide we will prevent the pattern of behavior where individuals become wicked because they habitually hurt other human beings. In doing so we will make large strides in healing our US democracy by addressing one of the principle underlying causes that have promoted tyranny in this country.
The problem then becomes what to do with what remains of the issue of the recreational use of drugs. I modestly propose that what ever is ultimately decided that it be in harmony with Democratic principals, which will spare our nation the evils that the abuse of power has recently created, which are much worse and more troublesome to society than excesses of personal freedom. In the US, the abuse of power has lead to an on going crime wave of national proportions that include but is not exclusive to the systematic sexual abuse by prostitution of children; the systematic perversion of adults, and an accompanying set of sexually perverted children; the deliberate employment of serial murders and serial rapists for propaganda purposes; the brutal murders of Senior citizens, often by their own children; the systematic torture of citizens for the heinous crime of thinking; and the prostitution of our wives. No matter what the problem it is designed to solve, it can not possibly be as bad as this supposed cure.
I have tried my best to be accurate and not sensationalize the nature of the situation, by providing a partial accurate listing of immoral criminal behaviors that the ruling radical right have degenerated into. There are a few things that become apparent, as one evaluates this contemporary tragedy. The US didn’t descend into this moral abyss overnight, and it will take time to correct this intolerable situation. Something needs to be done, in a timely fashion, to stop these flagrant and arrogant abuses of power, which will ravage our country and destroy our Democracy if allowed to continue unchecked.   Last, we need to progress through a series of steps to ameliorate the destructive nature of tyranny and firmly reassert America’s strong tradition of Democratic values and ideals. First, society needs to differentiate between types of drugs. Second, without encouraging use, license heroin and cocaine use, with prescriptions, who require employment as a prerequisite before they’re dispensed, and available counseling will be encouraged and made available to any one who takes the drugs, which will only be administered under carefully controlled circumstances. This is to be a self funding program, which will provide additional monies for public health programs. Third, license opium, barbiturates and amphetamines in programs modeled after the second step heroin and cocaine programs. Fourth, legalize marijuana, as a product to sold only to adults, like tobacco, beer and wine. In an extremist moment, pot was targeted because of the beneficial financial impact for the radical right operatives, who had become corrupt and wanted to maintain their elevated standards of living, rather than for legitimate reasons; and it was instituted by people whose unfortunate experiences relating to the 60s left them with a distorted view of a centuries old responsible recreational behavior pattern, embraced by no less luminaries than Jesus and the Apostles, Nobel Peace winners, Presidents, and active hard working members of every profession and occupation. Fifth, periods of transition are extremely stressful, so vocational training, counseling and job placement assistance should be provided to ease problems experienced by the radical right operatives, which will facilitate their smooth integration into society, minimize the amount of dislocation and economic duress which adversely affect the involved individuals, and their families.
It is my personal belief that consumption could best be contained in central districts with controlled access. It could be restricted to these central zones in communities in a limited number of districts throughout each region of the nation, which would allow the harmless discreet occasional visits, while leaving responsible members of the communities’ reputations intact. This in turn would not encourage youthful consumption patterns that are the chief cause of legitimate concern, because positive role models could be maintained while the attraction of the forbidden fruit would be eliminated. Further, it recognizes the potentially beneficial roles controlled and channeled Bohemianism can play in contemporary society, by acting as a pressure valve to enhance social stability and promoting the accompanying increased creativity. Any abuses in distribution to minors would be discouraged by an effective combination of tough laws and sting operations coupled to the readily accessible affordable central districts, which would quickly eliminate any illegal independent entrepreneurs. The merits of this multi faceted plan are chiefly that it promotes the legitimate ideals of Democracy, promotes the beneficial aspect of Bohemian subcultures, and promotes another source of revenue for government; while helping to eliminate heal the negative impact of tyranny. And all of this could be realized while carefully controlling access and discouraging the injurious phenomenon of excessive and youthful consumption patterns which were of concern to conservative elements of society.
In a related matter, I would encourage select controlled tests be conducted about legalized prostitution. The radical right, for a couple of decades, has legalized prostitution under very hazardous circumstances, for the prostitutes and their partners. Why not legalize whore houses in select locations and have physicians conduct regular exams of the establishments’ employees? They would benefit by having safe sex with legal aged paying patrons. Perhaps it could be determined if these institutions would have a beneficial impact on reducing the occurrence of sexually transmitted diseases, and reducing the number of sex crimes committed. If results indicate closing these types of institutions, then, at least governments would gain during the carefully conducted experiments additional sources of revenues.
