Dear Mom,

I made it to Kansas fine with no trouble. When I was on the plane, I saw a weird bird-like thing flying outside. When I got to the airport, I saw the same thing in the parking lot. I ran into a corn field and he landed right in front of me. He had eyes that looked like they had been tie-dyed. He had green skin like grapes. It has machine guns strapped on his arms and a laser on his head. He tried to shoot me, but I took some corn and clogged his guns. When I clogged his guns he was very surprised. His guns exploded. Then my grandpa and I trained him to be nice and I named him The Gun Dragon.

Love,

Donnie

Dear Mom and Dad,

I was exploring in California. A dragon had sneaked up on me because it wanted to play. It was a little bigger than a dog. The dragon was green on its back and white on his belly and legs and feet. It had diamonds along its furry back. It smelled like chocolate candy. It had soft furry paws. Its teeth were as shiny as white crystal. Its eyes were light green like peridot. It was very friendly. It trotted exactly like a dog. It could talk. So we talked together. It asked me if I wanted to play games. I said, "Yes." I named it The Friendly Dragon. We went deep into the wood everyday we played together.

Yours truly,

Sara

Dear Ken,

I was going hunting with my dad. We were searching for a deer. The trees were broken down and dead. The forest was old and creepy. Then a dragon appeared. The dragon was as big as 6 skyscrapers. He smelled like a big skunk. His back had spikes. His teeth were like medal. His tail was as sharp as an arrow. His eyes looked like fire.

Then I started to get closer and my dad said, "Don't go closer." Then the dragon flew over me and ate my dad. I ran and ran. I did not know where to go. Then I hid in a hole in a tree for a day. I got out and the dragon was gone so I went to the nearest city. I named him the Giant Dragon because it was as big as 6 skyscrapers.

Love,

Cliff
