Jay and his Uncle Rex go for a ride in his Uncle's Cessna, a plane, when a low-flying 757 catches them in it's wind turbulence. The plane is violently thrown around, which knocks Rex unconscious and leaves Jay blind due to a head injury. With his father helping him steer the plane from another Cessna flying beside him, Jay must fight to stay conscious. Jay has a big decision to make, land the plane on ground or crash in the ocean. Dr. Cooper and Lila can only pray that God will help Jay and keep the small aircraft from crashing into a mountain range.
The last book in the Cooper Kids series and Peretti is still doing a great job! I really learned a lot from this book about airport runways and even a little about planes. I enjoyed this book, the Coopers kept their faith to the end. I think that is a good example for us all.
