Dr. Cooper and his children enter the tombs of Anak in hopes of finding a missing co-worker. While searching the numerous tunnels, they discover that is there is more to the story of Ha-Raphah than anyone is willing to tell. Just who or what is this Ha-Raphah, and why is everyone so reluctant to talk about him? The mere mention of his name scares the villagers. While looking for their answers, Jay and Lila are kidnapped by Ha-Raphah himself. Dr. Cooper can only hope that he will find his children before they feel the true wrath of Ha-Raphah, and that someone will answer his outcry for help.
Peretti did very well in comparing a blood line from the Bible to a possible existence of this family today. This one was very suspenseful, and was well told. I think this is one of my favorites from the Cooper Kids series.
