Lila decides to visit her aunt in the States, and leaves one of her father's expeditions early. While aboard the Air Force plane, it is hijacked. In an attempt by one of the pilots to retake the plane, disaster strikes. The plane is on a one way crash course for the ocean. Lila is instructed to get into an airtight weapons pod. The only thing she isn't told is that it contains a top-secret project. The crash leaves her trapped in the pod at the bottom of the sea. Upon hearing of the crash, Dr. Cooper and Jay immediately set out in search of Lila. With the help of journalist Meaghan Flaherty, they must find the pod before a group of terrorists do. With the terrorists in hot pursuit, Dr. Cooper, Jay, and Miss Flaherty venture to an island near the suspected crash site. They can only hope they find Lila before someone else does, or before her air supply runs out.
Another good book from the mind of Frank Peretti. While we already know the outcome of the book , we still must wonder. He does a fine job in telling us to think out our problems before we take harsh actions against them. Also, with God anything is possible.
