The Sad Thing About Is... by Kenneth Dale Jr.

Father God you are so awesome;
larger than everything and deeper than the concept of nothing.

You engross so much.
You are aware of us all.
You desire a relationship with each of us.

The sad part could be that people don't know that you exist,
but that is not sad because I know that you work out everyone's life
so that we can get the opportunity to get to know you.

What is sad is that people don't listen when you speak
and end up making you up out of their own sight.
Though you know the dawn of the earth and the setting that is to come
their two eyeballs have seen enough to fathom your qualities and character
without being humble enough to ask.
