But for those who seek an anchor on life's stormy seas, he's the one. In love, a model of fidelity, but could that sometimes be a tiny bit boring? The Buffalo gets on well with the easy going Cat, and perhaps a well-behaved Pig - nothing too exciting like the Tiger or the Dragon - their antics might be too risqué for the very conservative buffalo. It's not all dull routine though - Napoleon, the Duke of Wellington - and Margaret Thatcher were all Buffaloes.
