CAPRICORN g
The Key Word is Discipline for this 10th sign of the Zodiac, and it is a Cardinal - meaning an Enterprising sign and Earthy. Depicted as half goat and half fish, the sign is a degraded form of the Dolphin wearing the horns of the moon, a remnant of the old worship of the Sumerian Great Mother Goddess. Whatever the meaning, Capricorns are considered to be rather special. For one thing they've almost invented eternal youth, and although they often have problems in their early years, generally they live to a ripe old age an have an ability to keep their youthful looks.

Perseverance, caution, resourcefulness and methodical ways are some of the words to describe this sign of magistracy. Cool, calm and determined, they climb and climb to their appointed goal. Unkind people have been known to suggest that they are just a bit too ruthless and will climb over anyone to achieve their ambitions - even their feeble old grandmas - but we don't know anyone like that - do we?

Ideal vocational activities are best where slow, plodding work is asked for, careful planning, patient exacting calculations, and authority is needed. So work as scientists, school teachers, engineers, civil servants, administrators, would be ideal.

In love, is sincere, faithful, conservative, reliable, but with adverse influences becomes pedantic, selfish and narrow minded. Easily worried about his health, could tend to become a hypochondriac and moody.
