SAGITTARIUS f

The Archer, the fiery 9th sign whose Key Words are 'I explore', and mutable in every sense of the word. Has the dual nature of the symbol, half man and half horse. Said to represent the knowledge and foresight of the Centaur, seeking new horizons and dimensions of thinking. Expresses the Geminian versatility and mental activity, expanded more deeply and philosophically. Has an enquiring mind and is jovial, idealistic, benevolent, and a sports and animal lover. Sagittarius has been described by a famous astrologer as idealistic, religious, noble - "A veritable prince among men."

Traditionally Sagittarians do very well as interpreters, administrators, explorers, ministers of religion, sportsmen and politicians. However, he is a law unto himself and can become extravagant, reckless, boastful, and oh dear, haven't we all met him? Instead of the 'brains of a man and the speed of a horse' our prince turns out to have the speed of a man - and the brains of a horse.
