Courageous, loyal, devoted and honest, Fido will always fight against wrong doing and injustice, he has such a strong in-built sense of right and wrong. However, in spite of these qualities the Dog needs plenty of encouragement and reassurance as he tends to have periods of gloom and pessimism.Once you have shown him the way, led him along the right track, the Dog is your friend for life. His real fear is to be lost or confused, he then reacts very badly and airs his views in no uncertain manner, never mind what racket or chaos he creates; and can find fault with everything and everybody. However, nobody is more helpful when aid is needed, and his stubbornness and tenacity will see that justice triumphs. In love the Pig will soothe the Dog's neurotic tendencies, the Horse will jolly him along - but the Dragon will not like being criticised by the Dog and the Goat is a definite non-starter.
