LIBRA d

The scales. The Zodiac represents Libra as a pair of scales, but actually it is a misrepresentation by the Romans of the Egyptian glyph, which depicts the sun in the process of rising over the hill-tops. However, the Scales perfectly fit the character of September / October people who are always weighing the pros and cons, sometimes so long that, like the well known centipede - he pondered on which leg to move first and consequently just stood and gibbered, and remained completely immobile, Librans often get into a dreadful fix.

Because of their indecisions, they get the nickname of "Lazy Librans". All it needs is someone to shake them awake from their idealistic dreams. Romantic, cheerful and optimistic, they work best in a harmonious atmosphere, with pleasant people, away from noise and coarseness. Poetry, diplomacy and beauty, are all very important to them. They will do anything for peace and harmony, and have a strong attachment to their family. They are quite prepared to coldly sacrifice any other family for their own if necessary. With a strong sense of justice, this often leads them into disputes, which can sometimes lead to mulish stubbornness and litigation. Too easy-going, untidy and frivolous, their sit-on-the-fence attitude can infuriate their partners, and can lead to exasperating disputes.

In love, they are very discriminating, romantic and sentimental, but when the scales wobble, nobody is as depressed, shallow and flirty as a Libran. Their Key Word is Balance - but it should also be Elegance.
