Lucy's Strange Dream
Up

Early one morning I had an ordinary dream, then woke up, but I was still tired so I stayed in bed, hoping to fall asleep and have another dream. Once I was asleep I dreamt I met two men. In my dream I was talking to both of them, and it seemed like they both new me, but I only knew one of them. I'm not sure why, but I was looking at the other man's watches, because he had three of them! I asked him if I could wear one of them - a green one. One of the other watches was silver and the last one had red gems inside it that formed the shape of a diamond.

Now it starts to become a little bit weird. I don't know if I woke up or not - if I woke up in my dream (meaning it was part of the dream), or if I really woke up, in real life and then fell back to sleep. I somehow woke up, but I wanted to go back to my dream. And I did. It gets very hard to remember, to explain, but it had something to do with the watch that I was wearing. It was like, I couldn't have left the dream because I was wearing his watch. We were all amazed because I was half asleep and half awake, I could hear everything going on in the real world - the dog barking, the T.V. on, the birds outside... It was very weird.

I wanted to see if I could do it again. I woke up, then I went back to sleep, continuing my dream. It was like I could come out of my dream and then continue it from where I'd left off. It was all to do with the watch, which was trapping me in two different worlds, the dream world and the real world. Once I was back in the dream world I started asking the man different things about him, to see if I could remember them when I woke up - to have some proof that it was all real. So I started observing things more seriously and when I found out some information I repeated it to myself, over and over, because we all know what it's like when you wake up and can't remember all of your dream, just portions, a bit here and a bit there - it's very annoying.

Anyway, this is my conclusion:- I remember his name is Lesley, his phone number is 05.36.35.36. (Which is part of a French number, unfortunately it is missing to two digits, because all French phone numbers have 10 digits. Also he was supposed to be English and he should live in England.) I also remember the three watches and his friend (the one that already knew me).

I forgot to say the end of the dream. Because we were so amazed and thought it was all real, he asked me to phone him when I really woke up, I said "What time?" and he said that he gets back from work at 3pm. I told him that I would phone him after 5pm. And then I said to him "Yes, but what if this is all a dream, or what if it's not? I won't know what to say to the person that answers the phone." Then we were both walking down the some stairs, he was in front of me and I shouted down "Wait, I don't know what your name is!" He said "Lesley" and I said "Mine is Lucy." He said "I know." When I looked down the stairs he was no longer there. It was the end and I woke up a little bit after that.

Later, in the day, when I realised that I hadn't got the full phone number, I was disappointed because I would have liked to try to phone the number - to see what happened...
